I love golden retrievers...such, SUCH good dogs - beautiful disposition, just very sweet natured and playful. It is probably the ONLY breed that I could leave in a room with a bird like that and be gone for an hour or so without being certain it would have eaten it after being alone with it for a while (they are predators, after all).
