i have a big problem: Everytime I save a sample from Audtiion on my Hard Drive it creates a short silence in the beginning and the ending of the sample so that it is actually a little bit too long. So if I put it in FL Studio, I can't use all the features properly.

And I can't find where I can change this option. It always worked but somehow it changed on its own. It upsets me so much.

Could anybody help me please?

Hello NFX I have been looking into getting some sound samples, but every site I go to it seems (I may be wrong) that they are selling Loops, where I want the single one sound so I can make my own music from them.

I think what I said makes it clear, I want single sounds rather then loops.

hey man...i have a tip for you. get the tempo of the song first. then when you wanna cut it on the beat, then you can just chose based on tempo. you made the cutting of your two bars MUCH more complicated than it really is. getting a loop is the easiest part. change your display from time to bars and beats...it will make your life much easier. you are displaying time....WHY?

dude, he is working with a wave file. They do not encode their time signatures, they are just the sound waves. You actually have to listen to them.

FUCK MAN...you can tap the tempo out with the tap counter OR like in logic you can use BMP counter. its freakin accurate. THEN you can switch the TIMELINE to BMP so you can accurately cut you samples.

I know what you mean with the wave data thing I'm the same way and when I try to show my friends how to splice they have trouble getting it lol. I use Audacity though for most of my splicing (sometimes FL), but it's pretty much the same as Adobe Audition. Just not as good lol.

yes you have to ask permission if you are making money off of it. just samplin for your own beats on myspace or whatever is probably ok, but you can't release an album without clearing your samples.
