Pretty sure it's slightly downhill, yes. You should check zeperfs dot com, it's some kind of performance database that gathers average performance figures of all reviews made of a car. For the Megane 3 RS it says 6.3 sec average to 100.

If you search youtube for acceleration videos of VW, Audi, Seat etc., you need to realize that theyre speedos have some big advance (like 104 km/h is 100 @ gps), so keep that in mind. Renault's advance is just around +1 km/h, so very accurate.

@Abzug0386 Hi there and sorry for the late answer. I didn't notice your message earlier, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't downhill. At least it isn't visible. I'm from the Netherlands and it was really flat. I think it was a lucky one. I should try in the other direction too, but I don't wanna burn my tyres. I did a few 5.8's and 5.9's, it was fun to try and when I did that 5.8 I thought even a high 5.7 should have been possible. I thought the advance should be more than 1kmh after that 5.8.

I was surprised to see all reactions today and indeed.... the damn beep :-) But if you drive normal it never beeps ;-) And don't think I drive like this all the time.. it was just a test. Maybe nice to know: in my daily trips I burn 8.7 liter on 100km. I think not bad for this fantastic car!

Sinon, je me vois mal le faire en ville. La voiture est tabassée à ses limites et on passe pour un psychopathe au yeux des gens 8)
