Sure the LOOKS good, wait till you play it, the fighting system is pathetic. Too slow, and stupid countering system that happens to be a complete guessing game.

Sure, you can make your own fighter in a DBZ game for one of the first times... BUT THAT'S NOT SAYING MUCH, THE FIGHTING SYSTEM IS STILL A PROBLEM!!!

Here's my hype meter to prove it to you: HYPE LVL: (1/3) / 7, definitely not worth a single penny of hype at all.

Do you know how much a game would fail if it's done EXACTLY like an anime? Unbalanced characters, and in DBZ's case, boringly slow gameplay because they usually take 5 minutes before they actually fight.

This is one thing that you DBZ fanboys need to understand. You're playing a game NOT watching an anime. Animes can be boring to watch because they make so many expressions.

If you prefer gameplay that much stick to RB2.

I knew half the RB2 people I knew wouldn't like this game, ah well, neither do I tbh it misses out alot of characters.

one thing I like is the emulation of the actual series.

& he doesn't mean the boring parts of the series.

He means the stuff that we love.

Who wants 5 minutes before every match? Or unbalanced chars?

I'd stick to real, polished fighting games like Mortal Kombat '11 or Street Fighter X Tekken, thank you. After RB1, I waited for a better DBZ game like its sequel or a Budokai styled game (not that sappy Burst Limit game), but seeing this game, I just lost hope.

Infinite World didn't cut it for you after budokai? Burst Limit pretty much had the same style too.

Budokai 3, Budokai tenkaichi 3 remain the most popular games, I wonder if ultimate tenkaichi will make the list.

@GodOnStrike The one thing that Burst Limit had compared to Budokai is infinite energy. You don't charge at all in that game, it takes even longer to transform, and it's easy to reach hyper mode (when the aura is darker).

If you search the name of Ultimate Tenkaichi on You Tube you'll realize the level of disappointment towards the game. You look at the game, you think it's cool just because of graphics, you play it, you barf.

@GodOnStrike Most fighting games rely on fast pacing and timing. What does Ultimate Tenkaichi rely on? Sluggish gameplay, lack of combos (just time consuming fight scenes you can't control), and the worst of all, GAMBLING (guessing to win a Rock Paper Scissors). It's almost as if it was made for 3 year olds who can't play a game properly.

These kinds of mechanics do not make a fighting game where of skill/strategy.

@Eltro920 Budokai 3 had the rock paper sciccors element in it, but I get your point, in B3 there was skill involved, this game has a completely diff dynamic.

Very soon we will see the opinions of the fans out there, we'll see if this game did any justice.

I'm not too happy with the lack of chars, but that's just my opinion.

I reckon maybe one more game will be released, not any time soon, but hopefully it'll satisfy everyone, which isn't possible obv.

It's impossible not to know what fans want. This type of gameplay is not it, just characters, characters, characters with large forms. On top of that have a game with cutscenes and what ifs for many characters. Raging Blast 2 was almost pefect, just too repetitive due to a lack of the above.

@BDevilScholar I agree, Raginga Blast 2 was very good, thy didn't waste their ''little short time'' with cutscenes and and story, the gameplay was much better than RB1, the only bad thing was some combo issues.
