they say, the rings diappear if seen from an angle and is extravegent! although it has many moons, are there any life possible? or...what happens if the rings disappear? would it effect the solar system?
Saturn's rings are more than 123,000 km wide and more than 22 km thick. They are made of rocks that rang from the size of dust particals to the size of very larg buildings. Saturn has more than 60 known moons and may have ALOT more unknown moons.
sometimes i have a hard time believing in outer space... like it's some sort of government cover-up. but it's just because it's so huge that its hard to believe and i feel tiny.
because most star are hunderds of thousand light years away from eachother some galaxys have two or even three stars ares only has one and thats are sun

lol the rings are pretty
solarsystemKND 3 years ago
yeah but its so hard to believe that that's like our planet, just a lot bigger and with rings and more moons.
funkyfredscool 3 years ago
@funkyfredscool - It's not like our planet. Saturn is a gas giant and has no solid surface.

Dumb question, but is this a REAL image of Saturn?
SaintJames5150 4 years ago
yes, captured with the Hubble Space Telescope.
kurtcrowbain 4 years ago
where aer the stars in the background?
bigbadmuthafukkah 4 years ago
Saturn is pretty bright so the hubble wouldn't have been taking exposures long enough to capture dim stars.
majorvoltage 4 years ago
why is it always so dark in outerspace?
bigbadmuthafukkah 4 years ago
because most star are hunderds of thousand light years away from eachother some galaxys have two or even three stars ares only has one and thats are sun
potheadtv3 4 years ago
Umm...the nearest star is only 4.22 light-years away. And our galaxy has approximately 400 billion stars, not one.
