i watched so many videos of this control surfaces i just CAN"T understand. WHERE ARE THE KNOBS FOR LOW/MID/HIGH SETTINGS? like any ordinary mixer. change knob possition, and settings changed on screen , on a mixer of a software.. explain somebody wtf is this.
@Holms It's more of a daw controller, so you'd control your EQ plugins in whatever DAW you are running with whatever you have assigned to them I guess.
Great Video, I just bought 1 of these but I keep hearing this thing about making sure I don't hot wire it when connecting it. I have no idea what that means. Please explain in detail. I would hate to fry this thing already. Thanks
@darrenguitar untrue. SInce pt 9 you could use the PMIO on the non m-powered version of pro tools. I have pt 10 right now, which is not m-powered and it works like a charm.
Hey I need some help with the project mix my pc won't recognize after I install the drivers and everything step by step and I gad vista 32 bit any suggestion please.

@BKLYNBOY7 On the Projectmix you are connected through Firewire which is not hot plug able. Hence the term frying.Only USB is hot plug able.
