  • I live in Kure Beach and dive here all the time. People don't understand the number of sharks we have right off the beach; bulls, tigers, sand tigers, sandbars, scalloped hammerheads, nurses, blacktips and many more. Here you can see how close some sharks feed. They do it by feel and if they bump into your legs they will bits thinking it's food. This looks like it was filmed in the evening..prime feeding time. We are only sharing their home...

  • Just got back from Bogue Inlet pier 8-18-11 and people were feeding two 5-6 ft sharks from the pier. Two of same size sharks were about 20-30 ft from the beach. Never seen this before.

  • @TheMab22 Well hopefully there will be less of them we are heading back on Friday.

  • @beer7210 my dad saw it, actually, and said it was a good 6-8 feet long. no one was hurt, though, so dolphin or shark, it's all good!

  • Great time to go swimming off of K. Avenue

  • most of the times people put up these videos and they are dolphins but this is a shark!

  • @iguy4567 yeah I will say it was one thing we will never forget.

  • I'm at Kure beach right now and ive seen 2 10 ft sharks

  • @LBF185 Where did you see those at? Where they off the pier? We are heading to Carolina Beach this year in Aug.

  • @duanelee68 they were bout 10 or 20 ft off the end of the pier

  • I was at Kure Beach this summer and my dad and I were in the water. I saw a dorsal fin literally a few feet away from us and pointed it out. We hauled it.

  • @msHARRYjudd it can definitely be a scary thing that is for sure.

  • The way you said " Their is a shark right here in the water" sounded like you thought the shark itself had no right to be there. Haha.

  • @hermit5321 Yeah looking back at it not one the most brightest things I have said.

  • @duanelee68 Neat video though. thanks for posting it up. I've noticed that there have been alot of shark sightings out on kure beach for the past 2 years. More so than Wrightsville beach. I think it was last year that a great white was actually spotted and photographed not far from wrightsville beach. That was a real shocker considering that type of shark isnt common in these waters.
