  • Do you have a requirement to identify there? In Pa we must verbally ID ourselves with name and address but no physical ID. I thought it had similar laws there

  • @YllwFvrPB No. No requirement to identify in New Hampshire; except when driving a motor vehicle.

There is a statute that police *may* ask for your name/address if they believe you have committed a crime, are committing a crime, or will commit a crime. However there is nothing requiring you to respond (though you cannot lie or give false information: I know who someone was arrested for giving their nickname; though charges were dropped when they proved that was their commonly used name).

  • I agree with what you are doing except the fact that the cops are also just doing there job I will be the first to admit that some of the cops can try to be macho and is not called for but keep up the good work and remember if someone els complains they get paid to check it out.

  • Alot of times police think they are just "doing there job" when they violate your rights.

This cop seemed to know what was going on however and didnt step on this citizens toes. Rare to see that. Good job Officer.

  • It's well within your rights to video and audio record them. I'm not sure why you comply with their wishes on that one.

  • Why aren't you showing the face of the fascists? Is it illegal to video police cussing out Americans where you live?

  • Thanks. So long as I continue to get detained and harassed, I'll keep posting them.

  • what electronic device are you using to listen to their radio calls?

  • It's a grecom-500

  • @OpenCarryNH I support open carry 100% and believe you have every right to be able to defend yourself. What I dont understand is whats the big deal about you saying your name and presenting ID. How does th cop know you're not a criminal. Whast wrong with showing that you're a law abiding citizen? its not really harassment. Hes just asking for ID.

  • @JohnnyBoyCali If there was a law requiring me to provide that information or if the officer stated a reason to believe I was committing a crime. At the time I had been detained a number of times and did ID myself. After the SAME officer stopped me a second time and wanted my ID after admitting he recognized me....and kept asking for it... I decided I wasn't going to ID myself anymore.

  • @OpenCarryNH

    .

I just looked at part of the law you posted. “will commit a crime.” And you are wrong you have to give him your id . every one will at some time commit a crime the cop may not when, where, what but you will. Spiting on the side walk, speeding, impeding traffic, jay walking.

  • @JohnnyBoyCali .

/When the cop has no reason to do so what is it called? I call it illegal harassment. Let say this happens almost every time you take your gun for a walk. Should you not get upset That the cops are breaking the law? Your right to peruse your business privately is being violated by the goverment.

  • @JohnnyBoyCali . What is the big deal ? What do most people think when they see a cop stopping some one and talking to them?

That the person is in trouble either as the suspect or the victim. DO you need that? How about if people see the cop wants id? Now what do people think when the person is open carrying where it completely legal and the cop is demanding id?

  • I like your videos. You got this idea from Dave Ridley. Good job keep them coming!
