lol, i've got you beat in the cop reports, i have had atleast 8 reports on me lol. I love the my LM1's, pair them up with SLP's Ceramic coated longtubes and SLP's catless shorty x-pipe and your car will sound like a mustang forged in hell.

Hey man I know you dont have the car anymore, but i ordered a loudmouth 1 for my 2000 mustang GT and i have a gutted aftermarket h pipe. So it has cats but they are gutted. Do you think it will sound like this?

I would believe it should sound some what similar. I would guess it would depend on how well the converter is gutted out. I only paid $120.00 for my Summit brand catless H pipe. So if it doesnt sound that good it would not cost you much to get it where you would want it.

Well since I ran a H pipe with no converters I would not have passed any emisson checks. So yes it was illegal. If you get to see inside of a SLP Loudmouth 1 it is a hollowed out piece of sheet metal with no packing of any sort in it unlike the Loudmouth 2. So I basically had the closest thing I could have to wide open exhaust. Everyone thinks you have a 11 second car or something where it was a blast to drive. So yeah do it if you can you would regret not doing it!

Easy! The E-Check is good for every two years. When time comes for E-Check just swap out the catless set up you ran and put back on your stock H pipe with the cats. After it passes take another 1-2hrs putting catless set up back on.

I just bought the Pypes Catless for my 91 and was stressing the smog check. That's a great idea! Makes me feel stupid, for not thinking about that. Guess I won't sell the stocker, then! LOL
