I tried it... Very cool... But there should be a button to diagonally aim down. Also, the music get kind of repetitive, and doesn't really seem to fit a metroid game. I would contact someone about producing more fitting music for this otherwise perfect remake.

go to options -> control setup, then set "aim style" to "2 buttons". then set "aim down" to whatever button you like ;)

I think that the current demo of Metroid Confrontation is good, but every time I get to Kraid I always get my ass kicked. The reason why is because I use a keyboard to play games. Also, I'm trying to make my own game in Game Maker and I'm having trouble making scrolling text. Here's my code: draw_text(x,scroll, My Text); . I want to make it white and change the font. Do you have any suggestions?

it's pretty impressing you wrote this on gamemaker O.o^^ i just tryed it out, really cool stuff m8! everything works well! only the controlls are a little hard to grap at once (x,d,z,misslebutton), could you change this up a little like emulation gameboy advanced controls, that'd be kewl

Bit of an odd request, but is there any possibility of some of the more famous glitches to grace the 2D metroids being added intentionally? The damage boost (where you intentionally take damage to travel faster) from super comes to mind.

could you fix the grapple? its so hard to grapple onto ledges and could you perhaps change the jump to space or make a tool bar that can allow you to change the controls? it would be very helpful! and awesome game !! better then zero mission (cant believe im saying this)

@azalm09 To grab ledges, simply hold the direction (left/right) when touching a ledge, after getting the Power Grip. To customize the controls and enable the joypad support, look into the options screen.

I know this is a remake of Metroid II, but should Ridley, Crocomire and Kraid really be in here? They didn't appear in the original.
