  • with the experience he has, depending on age, but if hes under 15 i would say around $5000-$8000. thats if hes been in shows and proven he does well. if you just fart around on him then most likely between 2500-4000

  • In Australia, people would buy this horse for 5,000 to 6,000 !

Lucky you to have him. :)

  • £1850 x

  • about £1500:)x

  • I think he's wonderful, he's a great jumper and very well behaved! His dressage is looking good and he looks really calm and quiet! I would say he would be worth about 5,000 - 6,000! He would be worth a bit. But I have a tip: DON'T SELL HIM!!!! You guys look soooo good together and he seems to be learning alot from you! He looks happy where he is and he is getting good education from you! WELL DONE :)

  • in britain we are in a money crisis:/ so over here he would get a buyer around £2000-£2500

    gorgeous horse btw;)

  • he looks a beautiful by i would pay about 2000-3500 you two look really happy together :)

  • I wouldn't pay much more then £1800 for him. He's lovely though.

  • Not much experience with Standies, but yours has a lovely jump and an awesome canter....I'd pay between £2500-£3500 for him in England? :)

  • id only pay £3000 max for him : )

  • His Lovely! :D I'm more of a fan of cobs to be honest, but i would pay between £1500-£2000 for him XD

  • 2500 :) He Is very smart looking and has got some tallent!

  • in my oppinion he is worth alot ! i live in scotland and over here anyone would love to have a horse like that ! i would pay between £3.250-4.250 he looks fabby :) x

  • because of his breed ++ about £2,000 :-) i live in norway and most ex trotters of a breed like standarbred goes from 2,500 and down.

  • 6,000 maybe??

  • hes probebly worth £2,000 thats my opinion :)

  • I'm from the US I'm not sure how much this is worth in pounds, but I would pay at least 4000$ for him. He's gorgeous, has a lot of jump, is sweet and appears calm and responsive, and has a nice canter especially for his breed. Your lucky to have him :)

  • in england there are grade b bsja showjumpers with winnings going for £4500 so if im honest i wouldnt pay more than £1500 for him /: sorry its because hes an ex racer and over here there is some nice horses going for nothing - not saying that he isnt nice just more established x

  • In the UK (i'm not sure what its worth in your money) but in the UK i would pay about £4500 ish? he has lovely paces!

  • To me he's probably worth a good $3500-$4000. However if you aren't selling him, you shouldn't be worried about this, because you can't put a price on a horse you love-They are priceless <3

  • 4000

  • If he can jump that high hes worth alot for that alone and he can do lead changes too for my opinion i think hes at least worth 20,000 or higher. He looks like he is a fantastic horse.

  • @mackenzie3455 20,000? you're nuts lol my ex racehorse jumps 1m40 and i picked him up for 1500 lol for 20,000 i would buy a propper eventer schoolmaster PRE or something lol ex racers are fab i love mine to bit but they are worth nothing price wise. so it is a good job i would never ever sell mine, they are worth their weight in gold to their owners, don't believe i have seen a more loyal breed, mine is a one person horse and only that person will do, but to others he would be worth 2000 or less

  • He looks Like A million dollar horse! You can't buy trust...This video makes me miss Free Boy :'( He was my horse... : (

  • he is priceless.

  • in canada probably 5 or 6 grand in america probably 8 to 10 grand and in england probably 1 to 3 pence :) he looks amazing you are so lucky!!!!!

  • to be honest i wouldn't pay more that £2000 for a ex racehorse of any breed i payed £1500 for mine and i just know you can pick them up for £300 out of racing and i could prob pick up one free but i wouldn't pay more than 2000 for a retrained one even to a high standard because i know all too well the physical issues with ex racehorses linked to early breaking in and being hammered on the race course

  • about 5,000 but i couldn't buy him ma parents wouldn't let me and i dont have the time

  • Just because of his breed, I Would ay $5,000-8,000. But if he was a TB or hanoverian i would say $10,000+. But he's Super cute & honest (: You could get good money for him if you were selling him. :)

  • I would say that you could probably get around $8,000 for him, he is a really nice mover and seems really honest to the jumps. Some of the XC courses that you did with him were kinda difficult and he did really well with him. He jumps really nice and he tucks ups nice...I would most liketly buy him if i was looking for a horse :)

  • With todays economy it would drop down to about 4k.

  • HE IS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO CUTTE!!! xxx

  • i would say at least 6,000. But of course it depends on the buyer. and how he does in shows when you are selling him. Also it really depends.. some people are looking for a good bomb proof horse for a child, but they want a horse that can take them to higher jumps such as 120 *like this horse* and are willing to pay TONS. as some people dont have the money and might offer less :)

  • I think you could probably get around $8000-$15,000 All depending on who you would advertise him [not that you are] He is a gorgeous animal! =]

  • Like 10,000 Hes Amazing!!

  • Gotta be honest, he's one of the better looking standardbreds that I've seen... He's built better, jumps better, and moves better. I'm not a real fan of standardbreds because they are usually built terribly, jump flat, and move really awkwardly. He has nice movement and a cute jump in which he actually uses himself. I'm impressed. If you were to sell him, in this economy, you may be able to get $3,000-$4,000 for him, simply because of his training and jumping experience.

  • i would pay £60000

  • In my yard horses like him were worth up to nearly 20,000 but because of the recession i would say mabey between 5,000 & 10,000. Hes a beautiful horse by the way. :-D

  • hes truly stunning. He jumps effortlessly. lol Im guessing $4000-$6000 Hes just beautiful. lol

  • I think you could probs get 5000, I can't really price on what he's worth to you and in real life but just from this video I think:)xx

  • i would pay honestly about 4000 for your horse if it's done all that doesn't matter about it breed more about it nature and what it done i would buy that horse in a flash it lovely <3 !xxxxx

  • Ohh my gawed :O That is one beautiful horse :') Id ask around 8000 Euro but thats only my opinion! I bet hes worth a million euro to you :') Good luck with him :D

  • around 11k. looks like an awesome horse!

  • Actually I changed my mind by the end of the video.. get all his shortening and lengthining .. collected-ness, auto flying changes.. and u could easy ask 9000 or 10,000

  • I would say start with 6000 and make sure he knows all his flyings and collected and extended gates and then u could possible bump him up to 7000

  • i would pay £4500-£5000 his comformation is lovely lovely color, nice condition jumps high, and has lovely manners :) has he done any big shows? like HOYS or somthing coz if they r 10,000 they usually have won a major competion or compete at high levels xx

  • i would pay £4500-£5000 his comformation is lovely lovely color, nice condition jumps high, and has lovely manners :)

  • $10,000 xx

  • He would win ever Hunter class out there =]

  • Well this is what I'm thinking. 100$ being saddle broke, 400$ for looks (hes a beauty) 500$ for disposition easy 1500$ for training, if hes good for the farrier and good to load/unload and good for the vet easy 2000$ for attitude away & at home again easy 1000$ soundness/quietness another 1000$ and trainabilty and child safe 2000$ but some of the prices certainly bounce off eachother and he wouldnt be worth as much if he wasnt what he is. so in total 8500$ good breeding 3000$ so about 11500$

  • lol well based on his breed i would say max $2000 CAN and based on the video footage max $8700 CAN

if hes a trotter i would say well done

if hes a pacer i would love to know how you go the horse to canter with out pacing

  • he's gorgeous, I'd pay $3,500 au

  • id say about £3,500- £4000 for him x

  • i'd pay about 1,000 for him and since i'm a cheepy thats saying alot...also i don't put much stock in breed i don't think any horse should be more expensive or less expensive because they are purebred blah blah blah i think they should be sold by what they can do and their genetic disposition like the fact that a mustang quarter horse mix is more likely to be able to with stand a greater distance with less physical exertion than one breed or the other ^_^

  • He has great form over a jump and seems quick. But isn't very flashy in my oppinion (in both conformation and movement.) He is really cute but I wouldn't pay any more than $3500 cdn.

Did u retrain him yourself? If so great job :)

  • i'd say around £4000 in the uk for him. around $5000 for the us but i'm not that sure about us money sorry haha, but he's gorgeous!

  • Just to let you know... from what I see in this video... here he would go for a good 8000 at the least... hes not a normal standardbred you see everyday. good job with him =]

  • Gorgeous horse. I think you'd get at least £2000-2500 pounds for him in the UK :) x

  • ok, so i say id pay around 7500 then

  • i have a good question.... does he ship well? cuz if he does, thats worth alot, and if he doesnt bolt back to the barn on the way back from a ride......so thats my questions, then il give u a price :-)

  • @kreabis Yep he does, he used to hate it but hes well over that now, self loads on and off sensibly to. And nope he doesnt 'bolt' on the way back. He will gallop etc, but only if i ask and is responsive to slow when i ask. Hes a pretty good fulla!

  • hmm..i think i would pay 3500 -4300 :)

  • Really pretty horse would pay about 2500 for him he looks great at cross country. I'm not trying to be mean or anything but work on ur heels more down and having a sturdy leg.

  • I'd say 7,000 because you've trained him well

  • I did an appraisal recently, however this was in the US, on a standardbred with very similar qualities to yours. jumping, calm, bombproof, gentle, etc. However here in the states i could only value her at about $900.

but i would never pay more then that for a horse anyways so thats not bad

  • In my eyes, every horse is worth a million :)

  • Because of what he can do I would say he is worth $4000 but because of his breed most people unless they were looking for a bombpoof horse for a young rider, would pay even $2500 for him.. I own a Quarter horse who can jump 3'6 but he is a quarter horse so people still wouldn't pay a lot for him. You two look so awesome. I think you should own this horse for his whole time on earth. Not many people are this dedicated !

  • wow! amazing horse

  • fuckwit? hopless case???? yea sure. hes gorgeous, sweet, moves well and certainly tries hard for you. I'd say hes priceless! but if u had to sell him i wouldnt take less than 5 grand in the bad economy. but if economy was strong id say 12,000 firm.

  • i would say from 3 to 5 thousand he is a great horse considering he is a standerdbred ! your lucky to own him!

  • @isisrox212 most standardbreds are great horses. just in case you didnt know (-; in fact thats probably what im going to get for my daughters first horse. most are patient, level headed, well behaved, friendly, and great for children and handicapped people. theyre a good all around horse. most excel in ANY equine sport.

  • @sheedalaadie oh ok sorry i have not really met any so i was suprised because people say alot of bad things about them! :P :)

  • @isisrox212 i wasnt yelling at you or being a smartass. just enlightening you, because i am very aware of the stereotypes about them. but really they are great. i like a lot of breeds though, theres something special about all of them.

  • @sheedalaadie oh ok good :)

  • He's a great little jumper and he has a nice personalty, but since the economy is down and you can go to shipshawana and by horses literally for 25$ where I live.. I wouldn't pay over $3,000. I find him magnificent hes just amazing, sorry if you think I'm shooting low on the price but everything's going so cheep right now. (:

  • @mhannan5899 'He does have good conformation and nice fluid movements' yet he's not a good example of a standardbred. Yeah.. you make heaps of sense!

  • where are you from? cause if you sell him overseas to an American u can get 10g minimum. id say some where from 13-16 if you shiped him yourself. i know you wouldnt but you could if needed

  • who is his sire? he reminds me of my standie.... i just play around with mine though... i havent had the chance to do anything more than fun shows or county fairs so i never really worked him to his full potential.

  • @babykiddio His sire is Live Or Die :) He's out of Pet Rock

  • who is his sire? ... he looks alot like my standie.

  • He is gorgeous! I dont know why people wouldnt like his breed. He looks to have an amazing jump and good paces. Your lucky to have him i would say about ten grand :) x

  • 5000$ canadian at least :) The palomino in the vids is ADORABLE!!!! I';m in love <3

  • Beautiful horse, well trained, good jumper, quiet. I would say 4,000 to 5,000

  • this is one stunning horse- i would probably pay alot off money for this horse- maybe about $5, 000? yeah your lucky to have him :D

  • unfortunately he still has a running standardbred trot and a slight four beat canter - (standardbreds gaits dont tend to have much elevation and stay quite close to the ground) which would put me off, but looks like a lovely allround horse, i wouldnt buy a standardbred but i would sell him for $3 grand firm.

  • looks quit nice horse , probs £2500 - £3000?

dont see why he would be worth less

  • Thats a real nice horse kid. If you lived over her id pay at least €2500 for him.

Don't sell him though, he is a serious horse, you should start eventing him. :)

  • i think defo. 4,000 to 4,500 because he is gorgeoussss and i reck0on he could still go alot further :) he is at a good age too :)

  • I wouldn't pay much for him since I don't like his breed, nor do I ride english, but.. In the states, you could probably get ten grand or so for him. He looks like a fantastic horse, though! I'm sure you're quite proud of him. :)

  • @LoriTheGorey Thanks, i like your honesty!

  • id say about £3750 - £4250, just because hes not all done yet :D xx

  • o my.. he is pretty gorgeous. Id have to say.. id pay. About 4000-4500.

  • @graceland4life123 Now that i look at him again.. i would go up to 10,000! :) hes absolutely fantastic!!

  • i would pay from 6000 to 8000 for him but i do see a 4 beat canter at times. he seems like a kick along which is what i love i say work on the canter a little more but that is the only flaw i see in him he is an amazing horse and the only reason i pointed out the canter is because dressage is my fortay. but i would love to jump him he seems wonderful you got your hands on a magnificent horse

  • Wow I have never seen a standy move like that. Ive worked with my uncles trotter/pacers and none of them move as nice as he does easily $4000-$8000. Your very lucky :)

  • 75,000-100,000

  • @horsegurl00 hahaha :)

  • @horsegurl00 way too much i no u mst probs wanna b nice $10,000 at mosst mate ,,,,,,,,,,, =P

  • He looks like he has potential in XC, Jumping, and Dressage, so would likely make a good 3-day event horse. He is simply beautiful, lovely structure and appears to be a good "action-y" free mover. While he doesn't bring his legs as high to his chest as i'd like, he plants himself well for the jump with a powerful takeoff. You stated he can get nervous about new XC jumps so thats what i'd work on most. I'd say between $ 7000-9000. He has great potential.

  • easily 2000 and up

  • I'd pay 4,000 to 8,000. Beautiful coat, nice canter, pretty fast, great on jumps, plus of all the things you trained him to do. You have yourself a very nice horse. ;)

  • I would say about 8,000 -10,000.(you'd be suprised how much money people pay for horses.) hahah hes the perfect age, height, his conformation is great, he can jump. hes what i would call a perfect horse(:

  • i would say 5 to 6000 dollers

  • a lot of mony

  • he is an extremely beautiful and talented horse! in english currency, i would pay about £10,500 or more, as with the right rider (aka you),he would be a top class novice eventer and will probably go alot further!

  • Oh and if your thinking of selling this boy, well you shouldn't.This horse has lot's of potential!!

  • He's beautiful. His conformation is a good and so is his collection. He is a fine horse. And just to let you know Standardbreds sell for quite a bit depending on their traits.I think he's worth $4,000-$4,500!He really is a fine looking horse. If he has good bredding he could be worth about $500-$1,000 more.Splendid horse!

  • Awe he looks real good , he doesnt seem lyke a stanardbred at all !!!!! :)

    I reckon he'd b wrth lyke 8 or 10 grand :)

  • well iv got a horse, and it looks really good posture, i would say round $10,000 .

  • i say hes worth 5000 - 6000 thats what id pay for him

i don;t care about breeding and all that stuff , all that counts is the horse its self yours has good conformation and great potential! and i mean that beautiful by!!

  • Hmm, in western wisconsin, I'd say he'd go for about 7500.

  • obviously, yuor relationship with him is priceless... and his story just makes you love him even more... the thing some people do to horses :'( i would say considerind his jumping skill and his bombproofness at least 7,000. and thas with THIS econemy :) gorgeous horse. your very lucky :)

  • My mom says that here in Massachusetts a horse that jumps that confidently wouldn't sell for less then a 5000. But I would give about 8000.(-:

  • im from California i would say 3,000-4,000 something liek that or around there

  • i think around $1500 and what a beautiful horse!<3

  • I'm from Alberta, Canada, and right now I would put the horse on for about 15-20k... It's really hard to say without having had ridden/seen in person but he looks really cute, and if he can do 1.30m... That's just my completely inexperienced opinion (I've only really bought/sold two horses and don't pay too much attention to the market). Since the economy isn't as good right now his price may be more 12 or 11, but I dunno. =)

Personally I think he looks like a blast!

  • F***wit, haha that's a new one!! lmao

But I think he's really nice, and you've done a fine job with him! He's cute. I would say he could easily go for 5k, maybe more. He looks like fun. :)

  • ahh he is a lovely animal has good conformation and is a sound well behaved allrounder, i dont know abour were you live but here in england if a horse hacks out jumps and is good on the flat they are worth there weight in gold :D

i would very easly pay £4500 id love to have an amzing horse like him that is so well behaved and willing :]

  • I would pay a good 10 000$ for this horse. he has a very balanced body and gorgeous long strides. he needs some more conditioning definately but he is gorgeous. something i would work on though would be making his approach to the jump BOUCY not just FAST because honestly, if he had this great big canter to the jump that was just all energy, his price and value would go way up because right now his approach is just flat.

  • OMG beautiful horse I would pay about 3,500 for him he could not sell for 50 or less he is beautiful and a great jumper with great long strides. :)

  • He looks realy great, so i would give $5000 for him.

If you want a good standardbred in Norway you often got to pay $4000-$5000, so i will say he's worth it =)

  • looks great ti me..but is he a stopper?

  • He is worth about: $2,500; but I would pay: $1,000 I won't buy a horse that expensive. He looks really great.

  • Tbh breed doesnt bother me much at all. I would pay $4500 for him hes looks great maybe a bit lazy ? x

  • He is a really nice standy, I would pay about $2000 for him because he is fairly educated and has been taught to jump, but no more because of his confirmation, does he have any problems with his back legs? If he doesnt than he will eventually because he crouches before taking off for a jump and his canter is really stiff in the back end...... I am a showjumping trainer and rider and i think that with some more training you and your horse will become a good team. Good luck for the future.

  • he shoul d be worth around 3000 now i know you think know ay more than that because hes my baby i would think the same 2 but not every one thinks that way

    lovely horse by the way

  • you have a lovely horse!!

if i would buy him it would probably for something like 1,500 :)

    But i 2 own a horse a bit like him ;)

  • Hi! I live in Finland and there's lots of standardbreds. Most do not value them but I do and i'm sure everyone would buy that horse.

I could pay him 3000 €, which is about 3750 dollars. You've got a great horse! I have standardbred and i love him but i think he's getting too old and must be in pension soon :(

Sorry for my reaaally poor english!

  • I live in New Zealand. Standardbreds aren't my favourite breed but this is one Standy I would buy and I'd be bloody proud to tell all he is a full Standardbred too. You've done a brilliant job with him. He's not your 'typical' Standardbred. ONE of the best I've seen. If it was ME selling him I'd sell him for $4000. I so think he's worth that. He'd be worth MORE than that if it wasn't for his breed putting silly people off.

  • @xLuv2Chevyx aww thanks!

  • I dunno in $ but here in the UK i'd pay up to £6500 for him, he's got a super jump on him! and he's beautful too :) you got a lovely horse there :) xx

  • 6000 he is a great horse to bad he is not for sale

  • at least 34,000 $ he's a pretty horse

  • in england first horses sell for a lot of money, and he looks like a bit of a first horse. however i think his price would be knocked down a litttle due to conformation faults but pictures can be deseptive. i think he looks like he has a great temprement so i think he would seel for about £2500-£3000. but thats just my opion :) x

  • £3000 _£4000

  • hes spectacular! i ride a standardbreed to and they are, by far, the best. i would say $20,000

  • defintley worth a fair few thousand there.

  • 5,000€ :)

  • well i could pay yoo $200 but i would buy him off of you for $5000 YOU HAVE A VERY GOOD BOY THERE.... u still own him???

  • he is lovely to look at and has great scopei woudl giv say £3000 -£6000

    :D he is lovely :)x

  • i reckon you could get anywhere from 5 to 10 for him maybe even more, hes got a lovely body and hes honest! Looks like a wonderful horse to ride :) top marks for you and your boy!

  • @MrClairebabess - Not selling him, just curious as to what other people thought he was worth :)

  • That horse is really pretty!! I would say maybe 12,000 to 15,000. a good safe horse is always a plus!

  • £2500-£3000

  • £2500

  • $8000 to $10000 I'd say. We all pretty much agree around here I see.

  • wow lush horse i would say he is worth £6000 in pounds because he has great paces and agreat jump, you can see he is talented and if anyone brought him they could bring him on even further. he would also fetch a lot as a family pony because he is big enoigh and talented enoigh as a adults horse but bombproof and fun enough for a teenager and he has a lovely look

  • A beautiful horse worth about $10,000

  • about 8000-10000.... hes very beautiful and daring.... hes got amazing movement and talent!

  • He looks AMAZING! 8,000 to 10,000 dollars. He is a brave jumper and it looks like he would do anything for you!

  • Haha he looks like my standardbred. but he is really pretty, nice comformation, and good legs. i would pay in the range of 8,000-10,000. hes a treaure it looks like.

  • i know over here in the states you could probably get about $10,000 for him maybe even a bit more if you taught him some more basic dressage stuff, if he's a good safe horse who looks good and will take you around he should be worth a pretty penny

  • ok, i do bsja.. i have an £8000 pony which is going to be a grand prix pony.. but no way is your pony worth more than that..i think that £3000 would be the amount that he would be worth(right now anyways) he might be worth more as he learns more but right now i dont think he would be more than 3 grand sorry.. hes gorgeous though x

  • hey , i live in NZ and am lookin 4 a horse, is he 4 sale

how is he now? and would he be sutable 4 pc and stuff?

    p.s. would he class as a shcool master ? + where r u located?

  • sorry he's not for sale

  • he reminds me so much of my horse!!! well that is if my horse liked to jump!! i would say he is probably worth around 8000!

  • GORGEOUS boy! I'd say he's worth at least $15,000 - $20,000. You are lucky to have such a nice horse, I wouldn't sell him either if I were you :D

  • id say at least a few grand (btw im from scotland if u cant understand wot im saying

  • haha im half scot. but we say grand over here to lol

  • your horse is beautiful! he is worth a lot of money...and i wouldn't want to sell him if he was my horse too. i did notice something that you could improve on though, Laddie is sometimes a little hesitant before some jumps because of the distance. so you could work on the distance before jumps a little bit. but Laddie is beautiful! and you are lucky to have such a gorgeous talented horse...i would say at least $10,000 ((:

  • i dunno bout $5000-$8000 better dresage than jump though. but i dont need another hores I GOT 6 lol :):):):)

  • at least 10 000 probably maybe more, just work on his structor over the jumps, and try a collected canter, that will help with the jumping, but very pretty horse you have and good job! :)
