  • sorry but i personally don't motion sensing as the main way to play is that fun (just an opionion)btw one of you said: the hype pf the ps3 is to buy and sell it on ebay for ten times the price.not me. ever. The wii looks great for a party, but i think it lacks in the singlepayer or online experiences that can be given with other next-gen consoles, or i guess current gen consoles (hard to keep up with the times, =).

  • Wow, this thing's interactivity is rather impressive. I always thought the whole "sit down and press these directional and action buttons" was a bit mundane, un-natural and arbitrary(Didn't really add to the suspension of belief, you know?) but this thing's wii-mote is completely awesome! If it's sensitive enough and the game's programmers are acute enough to the handling part, it definitely has potential. PS3 to Wii:Compare Much better graphics to better graphics compared to last gen,Who cares?

  • good point sublime... I mean, since when do graphics outweigh content? I would much rather play a really fun game, or one with a great story line to one that just looks good. Then again, I'm not shallow and no telling how those graphics people are. If I wanted things to look as good as real life I'd you know, GO OUTSIDE! (lol, though to quote futurama "but this is better then real life! Its HD!!")

  • Has anyone ever played Gunbound? Or Worms Armaggedon or some type of game like that?  I think that'd be an amazing game for the Wii. Especially with the new controller, you control pitch and velocity with your remote - so cool!

    I get pissed off quite frequently when playing games and i tend to move my arms in rage which wont suit this peripheral. How am i supposed to pull a V sign at the t.v?

  • The controls are supposedly easy enough that even somebody who doesn't play video games can get them down in about 10 minutes and be able to reliably control them. The technology is a lot better now at least, anybody remember the Glove?

  • man I think I'm gonna get a Wii now, was gonna get an Xbox 360 and maybe in a year Ps3(I work in the game industry so i kinda gotta know all the platforms), but the Wii is really something else. If I want superb gameplay with graphics etc, I'm gonna build my own PC gaming rig to play games like crysis(PS3 and Xbox 360 reduce the quality of crysis) on a PC instead of console.

  • Sony and Microsoft really can't compete with Nintendo's ingenuity, as far as groundbreaking games are concerned. They just tweek up the power so tech-heads will buy the 'superior' consoles. Which is one of the worst reasons to buy one. They and development teams then steal ideas from Nintendo (not just in respect to technical expertise, regarding game concepts aswell), then add their own personal touches. Which means they suck.

  • Hey! Whether or not the wii can do sword movements is up to nintendo. They know what theyr'e doing fact is the wii is still a mystery until realesed. Nintendo couldv'e abandoned the remote so who gives if movement isn't perfect. Thers still more freedom in the controller than PS3 or Xbox360. One peice rox my socks!

  • That looks like Metroid prime of the gamecube.. probably is just a convert you know. From the new games I've been the graphics looks nice, but it's not overly done if you know what I mean? like super realistic textures and such.. but the Wii is tiny and cheap compared the Ps3 and 360 so you can't expect it to have the same graphics. It is going to be a huge ammount of fun though. :D

  • Wow! I want Wii! Yes it will take some time to get used to. But you can't expect game consoles to be using gamepads forever. The controller might be what our kids in the future would view as a standard, just like how we view the gamepads that we have nowadays.
