@DeadRaymanWalking Thanks to Youtube I finally got to make that discovery, too. The German dubbed version had a voice actor who sounded like he was in his late teens. And he sang the theme song in tune…which made it only half as funny. The voice actor did a decent job, but if you ever heard the original you just don't want to go back. John Candy had a very nice voice…one of the few high-pitched male voices that don't have that annoying streak in them.

So as kids that looks much, but actually you've already seen it all. I guess that if I start watching it now that I can watch it 1 time and that I'm bored afterwards.

However, cartoon makers, are making more and more and more unrealistic toons, not even in a nice toony style drawn. It's all so abstract and even stories are abstract.

How are kids even supposed to learn from cartoons when they've thrown out all the good ones.

I think John Candy's okay, but I don't know what made him agree to take part in a show based on him. Good lord, the intro is presented in a way that drones on for so long (held notes, off-key singing, repetitive organ) that I wanted to blow my brains out.
