  • So how did I miss this before? I thought I'd pretty much scoured your channel & listened to everything. Slipping... ;)

Really love the tune & the guitar too...that's the old D35, huh? You can't beat that mellow sound.

  • @Gingerjake2 Ah you never know what's lurking in the depths of my channel! Glad you enjoyed it :-) Yeah, that's my favorite guitar.

  • @SW94929 I figured. It has that terrific aged sound. Why doesn't that happen to humans? LOL! Tho' when I think of people like Tony Bennett, I guess I should take that back.

I will take another walking tour thru' your channel & see what delights I've missed. =D

  • Sounds Great!!!

    5 *****

  • Great 5*****s

  • Thanks a lot!!

  • Ahhh found it! Great job man, and that certainly is one fine sounding Martin! No I never actually played this on banjo, it was one I wanted to learn but never did get to it.

  • thanks bro! it's a fun one - good for jams.

  • Great playing again, Stan. Is this Martin you are playing on? We miss your singing as well...

  • Thanks! We did quite a few yesterday but most were one take each so we have errors. I'm curious to see what we will post. Stay tuned.....

  • Oh and yes that is a Martin D35 made around 1972. I've been thinking about a classical guitar .Yours has such a beautiful mellw tone.

  • Mine is TAMA TO-8 of about the same age. I envy your guitar's bright and even intonation - also when played on upper frets. But my fingers would not probably fit its narrow neck.

  • cool!

  • Thanks Kristen! I'll send you SOR soon I hope.
