I just love the commercial on this vehicle. The idea of having a child imply that a parrent is lame if they dont drive one is GENIUS !! That little boy needs a good slap across the face LOL & Japan could use couple more nukes dropped on them ! That video is, well im not upper class like you suit wearing panzies so never mind !!
Highlander, 2010 Engine Noise. My first oil change was 4000M ago and it was done at the Toyota dealer. assuming the put Mobil 1 fully synthetic motor oil or that's what I paid for
@jxxn442 I am use to driving manuals. Also, automatics seem to be harder on the engine, they never seem to shift when they should and redline the tachometer. I also have no problems driving manuals in the city; I have spent many hours on the 405 in LA with no problems at all.
I thinking about getting this or a Rav4, but I think I want one of these more. I currently drive a 2006 Corolla & I need a bigger car with more legroom. My Corolla is starting to feel a bit cramped & I think because I have grown a bit since I first bought it new back in 2005. My friend drives a 2007 Highlander & it's a really nice riding & quiet car. I didn't like the styling of the current Highlander at first, but it's starting to grow on me a lot more now.
I was thinking about getting this or the 4runner. But, I hate automatic and it seems that the only SUVs Toyota have nowadays with manual transmission is the FJ. Are they going to stop making manuals? I currently have a Tacoma with 244 k miles and am hoping to get another year out of it. I was thinking of getting an SUV this time but am a little frustrated due to the fact they all seem to be automatic. Any suggestions?
I can get 23-25mpg in the city and ive been able to get around 33 mpg at around 55mph. Ive gotten 34.5 mpg once but i wasnt been able to maintain it

Real nice luxury car, but I wouldn't use it to pick up my kids from school like Toyota advertises. It would be good for long trips maybe.

The commercial is arrogant and the kid is obnoxious. I would look at other cars just because of this commerical. Toyota screwed it up again.
