There are 2 (yes, 2 !) ropes attached to this clown. 1 is from the top of the main balloon. This is attached to his stem of balloons (bunching them to his side). The 2nd line is his safety harness...he remove this first for show. Then they remove the tether line (off camera) which is secured up high. No tether line = no lift = dropping faster than a hooker punched in the gut.
