@thekingofkings64 Yes they are, with a few exceptions. For instance squirtle joined a firefighter team and he traded his aipom/ambipom to dawn for buizel. Charizard is at the charicific valley training/breeding/whatever but he can still contact him (and has in the past). Also he doesn't have one taurus, he has an entire herd. The only time he calls on the pokémon that he isn't currently training is when he is at tournament, otherwise he just works on the team he has.
