Have fun with them, find out the locations they setup radar traps and throw out roofing nails. Bag of nails is about $6.00 at Lowes. Cops tire about $150.00 each. Make the porkers pay.
Unfortunately here traffic-cops act more stupid/looser than yours, they randomly stick fines for a lot of crazy and nosense reasons (like to have parked the car with the tires non *perfectly aligned/parallel to the white lines*) just to illegally rise extra money for the local county.
p.s.: "little pirate" go to the crazy traffic-cops headquarters, "car boarding" them and then start to bite :P
you can have recourse to the local pubblic amministration (the stupid looser evilish traffic-cops headquarters?) for the 3 (useless) tickets as you have just renewed the service dues.
Here traffic-cops check if the car owner have just renewed the service *before* to stick fines for missing tabs on the car plates/glasses; it's common sense as erasing wrong fines cost a lot of money to the public amministration, so, instead to rise new founds, they end-up wasting public resources (continue...)
It has nothing to do with a bad experience, it has to do with a bad economy. In difficult economic times, localities typically look to issue more tickets in order to increase revenue.

we should alway fight every ticket in court
It cost the gov't more money to take these low level so called crimes to court
its not cost effective for them to fight us so cops are always selling tickets
the more the give you the better chance you won't be able to get out of all of them
Prosecuters will often offer to knock off the lesser tickets and save the most expensive one or ones
