i honestly do not see how everyone claims to have so many issues with this phone and the 5800 , i dont have any problems software wise, at least nothin a software update cant fix, this is a very nice phone :) it would be cool if it was all titanium :)

preordered this phone back in june, got it, felt cheap scratched easy, the RAM is pathetic, apps are sub par, immediately sold on ebay, and got a 3gs 32gb couldnt b happier, hope this helps but really if your going to buy nokia the n900 looks reasonable

I already have a samsung f480 (touchscreen) so its not the touchsreen that is the most importand about my decision between Nokia N97 and Iphone 3Gs.

Im just wondering now if Nokia N97 is so well as Ipgone 3gs is,concerning the music player.

Well, that's up to your preference. To me, I use iTunes very heavily, so the iPhone's iPod is perfect to me. I still love the iPhone's iPod because there are many small features that I love, such as gapless playback, star ratings, smart playlists, lyrics, audiobook support etc. So the iPhone's music player is the best for me.

But if you don't care about any of that, and all you care is that you can find your song and play it, then they're the same.

And yes, the N97 can auto focus as well.

You have to decide based on what you would use it for. iPhone for iTunes and it's huge, constantly updated apps store, N97 for its keyboard and design and more familiar, traditional user interface.

The N97 certainly has a better keyboard and much better software than the X1, but apps you have downloaded or purchased for your X1 won't run on the N97.

they include a stylus because when iphone is out many asian peoples complained about lacking of stylus....therefore losing sales in asia countries....thats why N97 has a stylus...

The other more technical reason is because the N97 uses a resistive touch screen, and all devices with such a touch screen must come with a stylus.

The iPhone uses capacitive touch screens which won't work with anything except your skin.

Yea, lonewolf604 is right. It's not that big. It just looks big, because phones with this design are usually pretty big. We compared it with a name card (by the width) and it's actually narrower, so with that guide, you can very roughly estimate the size of the N97.
