  • you wouldnt believe me if i tell you that here in Malaysia we cook it in a soup like stew and suck it all up using a big straw straight up.and the stew is called a gearbox stew..lol.massive amount of cholestrols for such a good food.

  • @MyAltruistic lol! i love that name!!

  • @ayenalvia i had to look it up it sounds awesome!!

  • Delicious! Bone marrow's amazing. :)

  • "I made a smiley face, two eyes and a mouth"

Ahww you're so cute, and awesome for eating all this crazy stuff.

    You're a really cool kid :)

  • @ItsRobinWhoTalks o thank you!! very much:)

  • Can people eat slugs? :/

  • @xXxakatsukixtobixXx that is a good question! i woudl guess o

  • @xXxakatsukixtobixXx Yes, at least you can eat banana slugs, but you have to clean them really well since they're slimy, and remove the guts, which is most of the slug actually. They taste earthy, like shitaki mushrooms, and are a bit chewy but ok. Garlic, olive oil and basil might be a good combo for slugs. The worst part is killing them.

  • @vwgolf1991 i think i would have a hard time with the killing too...

  • Awweh he's like a mini Andrew Zimmern!

  • @macandease awesoem! i love andrew zimmern!

  • @mitchi7762 if i dont make it all my mom throws it out later. i cant stop her! so i make all i have usualy and then my dad alwys has to try it and then usualy he will take some to work and gross people out there.

  • @rc10t1999 i will do it! i never tried ham marrow

  • Hey Remy, i'm a little concerned ...being so young ...how did you become involved in tasting so many odd variety of foods??

  • @WASTELANDelf i always liked all foods almost.i was 3 and my favorite food was brussel sprouts. so i knew i could eat things other kids didnt like. then i liked andrew zimmern all the time and i thought even if i cant travel every where i can eat strange foods.but i never thought it would be a channel. i wanted to put some videos up for my cousins and grandma. but then there was a tv channel here that interviewed me and suddenly i was on wendy williams show and nate berkus show. i love to do it.

  • oops i thought i typed it out..i forgot to mention that the old guy ate bone marrow several times a week. Not sure what it does to his cholestoral coz we all know that beef marrow is high in cholasterol. I think he exercises a lot. Anyways, take care son!

  • @WASTELANDelf lol! i gues that is true. you dont want to have a heart attack so you have to exersise:)

  • ÉY REMY! beef bone marrow and shanks are very commonly eaten here in the philippines. Its believed to be very nutritious. My late grandfather had an old friend who's presently still alive and very well. For 94 he looks not a day over 65. OHNEST. The man is still physically and mentally in great shape. He's as sharp as he's always been. Bone marrow is simply delicious!

  • it taste good, but personally i find it gross, my family is always fighting for the bones whenever my mom makes stew, i avoid them lol

  • @audiocable is it because it is just like blubbery fat? it is kind of weird. but sooo good to me:)

  • @FoodOddities here in the philippines, we just boil them or cook them in the oven. Do you need to soak them in cold salt water to purge out any impurities?????

  • @WASTELANDelf i read that it does that

  • You're so adorable. (::

  • @HunterHorizon1 o thank you!!

  • Try gear box soup....people suck it with plastic straw

  • im 10 years older than you but even you know cooking more than me

  • @ASUSproz realy? wow! i do want to be a chef

  • I love bone marrow, especially sucking it out of a chicken drumstick. My friends think its weird lol. But I don't blame them

  • @MsBirdie91 i like it when you get a chicken wing that is cooked really well and you can bite the thin bones and eat the bones and marrow together! so good!

  • Bone Marrow is very common where I live here in the Philippines. It is cooked with the meat (beef) still attached to the bone. The dish is called "Bulalo".

The bone marrow and meat is boiled for several hours and after its tender all the vegetables are added in. It can be any or a combination of potatoes, sweet potatoes, corn on the cob, cabbage, pechay and spring/green onions (",)

  • @zor0825 i have to visit the phillipines sometime everything sounds so good! i will remember bulalo

  • I love eating bone marrow, especially when it's boiled with some carrots, potatoes and cabbage :P It's pretty common in my home country ;)

  • Hi Remy

Your latest upload " Remy eats bone marrow " is quite superb.

You like bone marrow, me too - I'm too fond of it. It has its own unique taste. Its taste is different from that of meat, yet so yummy - Isn't it ???

I like all your videos a lot, but this one in particular, really!

  • @JinnMokkil thank you!! i'm glad you like this one. i am inspired to try pork marrow now and other ones like lamb! i havenever tried. it is like a whole new food group!:D

  • Hey Remy I'm watching you on the Wendy Williams Show:) Were you nervous? Btw I didn't know you were a local kid from Lansing.

  • it was awesome! i was nervous yes really nervous!!she wa s really nice though she talked to me for a long time before th show. do you mean you are from lansing too?!

  • lol yes! it doeskind of look like that. but it really is goo d i promise

  • So like a week after watching this, I went to cracker barrel for breakfast. Normally I remove the bone from my ham steak and discard, but since I had watched this, I decided to try the marrow. IT WAS AMAZING! I'm going to have to buy cow bone marrow now to try the big guns.

  • @takadi o you are so right duck skin gets so crispy and it is the best stuff ever. and i dont know who hates bacon!! top three for sure

  • Yeah...so gonna try this!

What's the texture like, Remy? Is it really like butter or is it grainier? Is it gamey or gelatinous at all?

  • it wasnt gamey i was so glad:) there is no crunchyness to it it is slightly jelly like butter... well butter and fat together. i think if some one hates fat they might not like it but once it was on the toast there was no feelin of fat just gooooood:D
