i like youre playing, but i really dislike the way you lower the quality by using crappy equipment for recording : ( and another tip: you shud not waste your time responding to such idiots like
arturocastanedaprior...you shud have learned by now that its no use to take care of em^^
wud be nice if you could think about those things, might help and keep up the good work!
It's good guitar playing....but I think it's a bit tasteless to point out in the title that it's not 50, not 75, no not even 95% improvised....it's 100% improvised!
It just kinda blatantly points out that you are here to show off your guitar playing, rather than share it. There really is a difference, and people will think you are a douche if you act like you can do anything. I know it's really sad but people are truly that insecure; it's like everyone has to suck to be accepted. Nice playing
I see your point man, kinda true! But just for you to know... this was REALLY 100% improvised. i mainly gave it this title to let people view it from the improvising perspective. it would probably suck if it had been planned, because it's just some noodeling!
I appreciate your criticism, because it is not just insulting crap like many guitar comments, but let me answer with a comparison: If a man has the talent to juggle with 15 balls and makes a clip of that - is that showing off? I don't think so! Youtube is there to show things that entertain people, and in this case I made a video that was purely improvised... I didn't call it "the best improvising on planet earth" I just pointed out the fact, because I think the viewer should be aware of it
You're a great player for sure! You've got the speed,, now just learn to put the brakes on when you need to! There are other, more important elements in guitar playing than shredding. Emotional phrasing is one of them, and learning when NOT to shred, is another! Like a race horse at the starting gate, is an analogy! Great playing!
Hey there! It's kinda ironic, because your comment is alike most of the comments I post to other shredders! I consider myself a player with a lot of feeling actually and I've always put more focus on bending, tremolo and vibrato than to shredding! This clip here is just the result of me being furious about my girlfriend :-)
Please check out my Santana clip and you'll see what I mean!...
It has nothing to do with my ego! It's just that I hate comments like that! If you have criticism or suggestions how to improve my style and playing you're welcome to post it. That's an advantage of youtube. But don't just go and post these sort of "you suck, you can't play guitar" comments! And I'm serious about your clips (which don't exist) Why do you post insulting crap but don't show anything yourself!?
I'd be happy to receive serious criticism which is kind of qualified... and not just insulting childish crap like "hahahahahaha big ego hahahahaha you suck" - I know that I'm far away from being "the best". I just love playing...
Much respect to what you said, arturocastanedaprior shut the fuck up and think before saying anything stupid ... I bet you cant do anything other than jerking off to porn, and even at that i bet you cant even last more than a minute therefore you cant even please a girl... Anyways best of luck to you Scott, good work and you have talent!
Amazing skill, did not like the sound too much, try one in the style of Malmsteen's Far Beyond the Sun solo (4:04ish part of solo is the best) and post please!!!
hhhhm, thanks very much man! Concerning the sound: I tried to create a sound like Petrucci's : With distortion but still "crystal clear" - maybe I need a better amp :-)

I believe you. I am just saying that only an asshat would think that was impressive enough to point out.
