I grew up without my father. He left my mom and the first thing I remember him say about me is "shut that brat up or i will throw her out the window" the last was " i never want to see u again" He died a week later. I praise my Father in heaven that He has loved me with an everlasting love and He will never ever leave me! He has given me an spiritual father, my Pastor and I am so thankful for that. God has healed so many broken places in my life and He will do the same for you if you ask.

I think of all those fathers who had children out of marriage before December 1st 2003 who although they may live as a couple, have no legal rights over their children because they were not married at the time... They changed the law in 2003 because it was wrong and it discriminated against men. I feel it should be backdated and all fathers given the same legal rights as they would have today.
