I am a devoted Hindu...but was thinking lately...would we accept and pray if its a Goddess with two husbands, as in the case of Muruga...remembering of Panjali...although she is not considered a Goddess...
you may know muuga story... he marry first with devayanai and as valli was praying all her life to hav a husand like muruga, he marry to answer her prayer...

You are correct. He is Lord Muruga, the God of Tamils. It appears that Muruga has shrunk into muuga among migrated Tamils in Malasia!
