At first , in my mind, (sorry if I am a bit rusty with music, other things going on now) ,I thought you had the la grange groove, but then my ear kept pestering me that its still not correct. You should go back and study my video about the groove and most of all, ask questions if need be. I will see if I can figure out how to send my video to you, so you can add it with your video and maybe others besides the two of us can learn in a productive way.
All of that being said, you just need to accent a bit more with each hand left and right, every other beat. Get your sticks up into the air, each of them, the both of them, every other beat. Make the tick tock sound, then the little flam things and what not make the tick tock into a groove. If you can do this, then you don't even need the la grange rhythm, you can do a rhythm of your own and manipulate it into something even better because original always sounds better.
