I like how the network promos in the movie appear to be a subtle parody of NBC's rival ABC whose slogan at the time was "We're Still the One".

@mookahmookah No prob. And I certainly agree, it IS a really good movie. I remember first seeing it in '84 on TBS, and had been wanting to see it again for the longest time. Btw, in a similar vein, have you ever seen the 1994 tv-movie Without Warning? It's a sci-fi docudrama in a format pretty much identical to Special Bulletin. That one's a winner, too. If you can find it online, I suggest giving it a look-see. Have a great day and a Merry Christmas!

According to IMDb, March 20, 1983. And from what I've read, the "interruption" was intentional as to make the movie seem more realistic.
