My car starts and then cuts off and then tries to restart.And it is hooked up right.Worked for almost a year then stopped.Tired of all the dumb peoples responses.And it is supposed to work when locked not unlocked .I think it has to do with the cars own security system.The bypass module is not bypassing it even though I have tried two different new bypass modules.If you found out the problem I would really appreciate you emailing me.drdetroit1226@yahoo. You got that for your birthday didnt you? You sure seems happy like a kid with a new video game. Remote starters are very common here in Jamaica but we use it for the opposite reason; we use it to cool down the car before getting in. Assuming you have the AC set on.
That thing is so annoying...I don't want my remote start to be chirping and singing at me every time I start the car or turn it off. And 3 seconds to hold it down? That sucks, too long to hold IMO. My system you press it for 1 second or less and it starts.
The worst Remote start unit is Crimestopper.. They DO NOT HONOR WARRANTY!!! They want you to take to one of their dealers for fixing their faulty unit...

set the car alarm off by slapping the hood of your truck just don't put a dent in the hood but yea if its sentive to vibrations that should do it
