But I like the fact that he emphasizes the duty of a man to love their woman like Christ loves the church and to keep on loving, no matter if they get it back or not. To that kind of a man it's easy to submit.I'd probably even do it if the bible wouldn't command it.

I dont like that he compares women with 4year old girls. Of course he knows better whats good for his daughter than herself because she's a child with no experience and he's a grown up.But women are grown up too and have experience like him.So what makes him think that the man knows always better whats good for the woman then herself?

@durdo00 But if he says a woman is supposed to be lead by a man (in a marriage) the SAME way as the man is supposed to be lead by God then critisizing himself for not obeying and describing it as acting like a 4 year old implies critisizing HER for not obeying and describing it as well as acting like a 4 year old.

The relation between man and God is different from that one between man and woman.God knows more than the man.The man doesnt know more than the woman, they are created equal

@aoiahiru you are missing the point, this is also for single men ( I am one), Gods love amazes me in situations different from his because he is married, for example loving my father who has been an alcoholic my whole life yet something inside does not allow me to give up hope that he would change, or the teens who respect me and look up to me yet find it so hard to follow some of the advice I give them. Why is it that for some reason whenever I hear a christian like this preach/speak I always feel as though a very vital part of myself is being erased? And it's not a carnal, bad or sinful part... it's that part that allows me to really connect on a personal level with the one. It feels like an assault on my' ability to think for myself. - just a thought.

Dude this probably the funniest comment I've ever read. It's funny because this is no different than reading a book, watching a tv show, listening to a song, and etc. Somehow calling it propaganda when it disagrees with you and truth when it doesn't. Chandler does have an agenda the same way everyone does. Hell watch AVATAR James Cameron has one. Appreciate the perspective and move on.

1. It doesn't "disagree" with me, thats too sweeping. 2. I doubt the comment was funny to you, moreso just irritating enough to comment on. 3. No not all people have an agenda. Some genuinely don't give a shit. 4. From the highest level appreciation and disappreciation are polarity unto a whole. 5. It's a good thing we don't all agree sometimes.

You know plasticpuppy, maybe there are times when people don't have an agenda. However, I doubt the same is true for you. Especially being that the top video on your favorites section is a video on how to study the occult by a Satanist. Which means that you at least dabble in the occult. Scripture speaks against all forms of witchcraft, divination, and just about everything else the true occult doctrine promotes. By the same degree you judge you shall be judged.

Cmayberry86, I have an occult video on there because I'm an insanely investigative, curious/inquisitive person, don't see the point in manicuring my' personal interests for people/churches to accept/reject me based on "they should get to actually know me first" - etc. Also, no I don't "dabble" in anything that doesn't make complete sense to me. That "assumption" is a false one. But thank you for being mature I appreciate at least that.

Oh btw I went to college for ministerial - I'm familiar with speech pentameter, neuro-linguistics and all of the other things that go on behind the curtain.  You know? And I seriously don't think it'll come to me from a "single" guru, book or preacher etc.. Study to show thyself approved.

In high western occultism the bible is actually used extensively. I guess that fact sort of stirs up the presumption that the occult has virtually no relevance to christianity and that it's a single "doctrine", alien, evil and bent solely in the insular destruction of a peoples. lol Just so you know i'm not making this up to fulfill an ego-problem. Check out the book tetragrammaton by donald tyson as a starter. The book of revelation was written in a high mystery religion code.

This is what I DO know: that occult knowledge is in itself neutral but being abused by EVIL people and yes evil entities exist. The ironic thing is that I left nearly atheistic nihilism because I studied the occult and presently have a renewed interest both in judaism and chistianity. The implicate image before me now makes much more sense. I would not be where I am if i had just fallen to my' knees out of hell-fear. Clearly I have things to accomplish.

@plasticpuppy I didnt fall to my knees out of Hell-fear... I didnt used to care until later in my walk with Christ. I rather fell to my knees out of desperation and pain, their was no dogmatic institution behind my conversion nor was their any psychological manipulation, nor was their, if I may be bold, any lacking of mental capacity (other than that ascribed to any other human.) My question then is how does one go abou defining evil in your world view?

@georginaxyz - Hey there: you know what things are by their' fruits. And going on that: evil to me has a continual re-occurring theme and that is: The invalidation of the intent/will of others. - I know MANY christians, my' best friend is pentacostal btw and I was baptized like 3-4 times in different situations. And yes I absolutely resent the fact that an omni-potent-scient, supreme being endorses spiritual union with him through "pain & desperation" - just my' personal quip.

@georginaxyz - Nonsense! lol - You probably picked up that angle from a book, video ,article or lecture etc. In any case: Absolutes ARE subjective and subjectives are absolute....but not absolutely. The color red is red, any crowd of christians sitting in a room will applaud that reassuring simplicity. But what IS red? A color? Whats a color? A frequency? If it's a frequency, are there others? If there are others what does that imply? Yes evil entities exist.

@plasticpuppy the point isnt deciding for ourselves what is true, rather developing a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as savior, redemeer and freind. Who are we to only ascribe our beleifs only to that which makes sense to us? Autonomy does not equal divinity.

@georginaxyz - To paraphrase what you've just said: Don't allow things like knowlege/science to distract you - just tap into the jesus frequency and develop an ambiguous, confusing relationship with him/it. He's our' everything as well as an avatar of God himself but here we are in this sink hole leading to hell, better get out of it - He's omipotetent - better make it! Most christians get where they are because the world brings them to their' knees. I see the man behind the curtain.

@georginaxyz - There's a difference between someone "deciding" something is true and proving something to be true.  On a psycho-linguistic level "deciding" is a word alot of evangelists use to connote uncertainty, blind and very dangerous ambition. I think it's slimey a technique personally. WHO ARE WE?! I don't know, ask god, no better yet ask jesus! Ask him if we are precious or if we are like dirty rags ASK him.

@plasticpuppy I think that is the point, like what he said about his daughter, Daddy knows best. The hardest thing to do is to admit God knows best, no matter how smart and knowledgeable you are. It is harder to listen to than to do as you please. Yes God wants the driver's seat, but only if you GIVE it to him.
