Why are you guys saying those are poor comments? It's true! I apologize, but even with fast fall, this isn't something that should be used frequently. I understand where you're coming from, trying to help the Smash community, we all are! We try to make advanced play more...advanced, and this video came with good intentions. But this... this is more of a situational "maneuver" rather than a technique that should be used frequently.
good technique i guess, but its kinda too slow when your airdodging, if only there was a way to fastfall while airdodging then i think it would be better. but you should use it in a real match to show us how useful it is
I delay my airdodge so that the invulnerable frames are still active as I land, creating a very small downtime between the landing to shield/sidesteping. The window for punishment is so small that it would take the utmost precision to take advantage of it. Just be careful of multi-hit attacks.
There are uses for airdodging straight out of a jump though. Its especialy useful against projectile spammers/campers.

i thnik this is a must know move for snakes, they seem to be grabbed way to easily after landing from the cypher.

some leeway in the adaptation of new tactics in the brawl scene, anything to keep it from a spammy campy nightmare makes me happy.

I was thinking of using the exact same thing. SHAD is a good term for it. I did it when I tried to WAVEDASH (reflexively).
The difference is that you're a lot slower on the air-dodge draw.
