Capcom apparently registered a trademark on the name for NA, and Mega Man is still big in this part off the world to so we will definitely see the game.

Only question is, will we want to? Much as I think the idea is cool, part of the draw was a one robot vs the army of evil thing. That and being a Korean game is probably going to be F2P, and i've played to many Korean F2P games to have a good first impression. Final judgment will be when we see actual gameplay, till then meh.

Here's the thing: Capcom would need to explain the reason why Axl exists and what happens to him between the from X8 to MMZ, as there is no record of his existence in the MMZ series which takes place directly after X6, but because X7 and X8 exists, ugh...its just a mess...Nothing against Axl though, but Capcom really needs to F off and leave the series to it's original creators.

I agree. Even though I love the music in X6, X7, X8 and XCM, the series' storyline in those games for the most part was very confusing and poorly written.

Capcom should really remake X6, X7 and X8. XCM's storyline wasn't too bad though.

I couldn't agree more. Capcom made a huge mess with X6, X7 and X8. The only thing they did right was finally picking solid voice actors for X, Zero, Axl, Alia, Sigma and Vile.

If they can't fix it, perhaps they should do as Nintendo did with the Mario and Zelda CD-I games Phillips made and make them non canon.

Zero is sealed in X6, but appears in X7-8, although you could say he was re-sealed later on, but wait...Capcom doesn't even "hint" that happening...so: plot hole 2.

Lumine is non-existent in the MMZ universe, but Sigma is mentioned.

In MMZ, X was said to have fought for atleast 50+ years....alone. So Axl becomes a problem...

Cyber elves or Dr Weil are non-existent in the X series.

The Cyber Elf War takes place after the Reploid War with Sigma. X loses his body there. :) Idk about Axl though but its evident that something happened because his powers go to Grey and Ashe in ZX...
