CW had to do with the World Bankers trying to control the United States. They Wanted to split the country in two. That way, they could fund both sides. By doing this the World Bankers would enslave the american people. The South tried to disguise their pro slavery cause by saying that this was really a property rights issue, which in turn a states rights issue. Britian and France (controled by the world bankers) to look like they were supporting a noble cause to their people.

History textbooks don't have the scope to cover more than names, dates, and basic information, on any topic. The 'bias' your referring to, is highly exaggerated. I've infiltrated Neo-confederate sites. so, I'm well aware of the bias, half-truths, and outright lies, they use for propaganda.

The Colonies, and the CSA, are apples and oranges, but I don't think much of revolutionaries, of any persuasion.

This democratization, coupled with industrialization, was going to render their fuedal, fairy land, obsolete. Plus...there were people in the Confederate government who dreamed of an Empire to rule over. States rights, and the Constitution, were high falutin' smokescreens.

Self-Interest, greed, and incompetance are the values driving the nation, at every level. INCLUDING the general public. You can't have small government, unless the public accepts some personal responsibility, for themselves AND their neighbors. That's not happening.
