The attitude era destroyed WCW and kicked ass in genera. Today if you hold a sign at a wwe event (and it even has a small bad word in it), you're either rejected or your sign is seized. I recall an event where a fan was rejected (unjustly) for taunting a hell star. The kid was forced to wait outside in the freezing rain for his buddy to take him home. I think the kid sued for wrongful ejection/violation of free speech. I think the end result was a refund and free tickets to a future event.
