  • you look very good for a 43 yr old...just putting it out there

  • Thanks for the vid.....I meditate occasionally on awakening my kundalini energy and opening/cleaning my chakras..it's difficult to maintain the focus. I have a faith issue.....is it working?..how would I know?...which is a stubbling block for me. Any ideas on what I should be feeling to keep me on track? Edgar Cayce used to warn about awakening our K energy if one was not ready and remedies to those afflicted. Any comments about that Paul? Thanks again....

  • @frenchycanada Everybody has faith issues from time to time. Meditating in a goal oriented way isn't something I recommend. Whatever keeps you on track probably has to do with that-- you can't be impatient for a desired result once you have let go of desire and you are no longer waiting for a result. Kundalini awakening can cause health problems. We've addressed that some in the resources section of our website.

  • @frenchycanada Thanks Paul...makes sense.

  • Thanks for your comments, but please read the other comments and my answers to them before you comment. This 2 minute video addresses only one aspect of suffering and illness, that we do SOMETIMES manifest our own illnesses. I'm well aware that babies and animals get sick too. I'm aware that there are epidemics and other forces larger than the individual which bring changes and death. I'm also quite certain that people frequently do manifest their own obstacles. No refunds on the 2 minute video.

  • ok.... I had your sarcastic reply coming to me...I should have been more polite about it...

  • will the woman holding the camera stop saying uh-huh! .....It's ANNOYING!!

  • Sure! Uh-huh, yep, absolutely, right away, we'll get right on it.

  • HA! hahahahahhahahahaha

  • Nice one Paul.

We have both had the same experience, Kundalini awakening, and yes, I was the second coming too!

    LOL.

Happily humility set in fairly quickly as I realised I knew what he knew because I'd seen what he'd seen.

    So did Carl Jung,

    Thanks for sharing.

  • Seems like a comment for the Kundalini video. I actually never suffered the ego attachment to the awakening experience myself. Later, however, I did expect a much more enthusiastic response to my experiences doing spiritual healing. I still struggle with the need to self-publicize versus true humility. It's all a progression and frequently the solutions involve considerable compromise. The video above is the one I regret the most: too simplistic a treatment of human suffering. . .

  • Interesting point. It's a balance between proselytisation and "being there" for the people.

The other point about your feedback by way of lack of enthusiasm is summed up well by Sogyal Rinpoche, principal aid to the Dali Lama.

How can they know its what they want when it can't be shown directly. Knowingly or unknowingly we're all seeking happiness that is free from suffering.

Good luck to you, we are not alone, find the others.

  • I think there is a lot of truth to what you say. Perhaps not for every situation but for many indeed. I have a progressive autoimmune disease and I can truly see that my worry about work and money makes it worse.

  • People like you make life for chronic pain and chronicaly ill people more difficult. If people like you didn't exist I would have less stress and my illness would be less progressive. You think you are insightful - but I see you as an oppressor.

  • People like me help a lot of people too. I don't think I can take credit for the progression of your illness. If I didn't exist you'd be exactly the same. I have no intention of oppressing you. My partner healed herself of chronic illness, so has my mother and many others. I have nothing but compassion for the sick and everything I put out there is intended to help others: however I admit that this short video is far too simplistic in treating a very serious subject. For that I apologize.

  • So why do animals get sick?

  • I'm sure animals and people get sick sometimes just because a pathogen makes it past the immune system, or for any of the standard reasons. But many of us have also seen animals and people get sick or even die from emotional stress which then leads to illness.

  • But you said people get sick for a reason. So they can get out of work. So do animals get sick because they need to get out of something?

  • There may be a reason for suffering of many kinds, I can't answer all that in a 2 minute video.
