I just picked one of these guitars up for $145, ah the perks of working for guitar center lol......Great guitar though! Play it through an acoustic amp/ bass amp with Y-cable to a hot rod 410 deluxe sounds really good.... Neck is comparable to my American tele if not better, I like the unfinished beck of the p36 better now that I think about it.
@stevieVantanna No b/c I traded the guitar a month ago and in order to add a 'bucker to the gtr you'd have to route the body to get them in. Great guitar but I like the PRS I got in the trade better.
@x24guitarman thanks for the reply but I was thinking of a mini 59 or something...you know a humbucker with the single coil size.....they are available you know...:)
@wickedbc06 I'd go with the Parker b/c the fit, finish, and playability are better than the Fender. The gigbag is top notch and useful (includes stereo cable, space for folders, pedals and a hangar to hook over a door). I think this is a great value too b/c of the versatility of the pickups/piezo.
@wickedbc06 it's similar to a tele neck. The guitar is korean made but very well built. The neck on this is very round compared to the p44 I had. I like the way this plays better.
What is your opinion of the Clubster Doce? I'm amp shopping and I've heard a couple of Rivera's that sounded sweet. Does it have a good high gain channel?
The "lead" channel is very Marshally sounding. It has a pull knob for additional gain but isn't footswitchable. I like it for what I do but if you're looking for liquid sustain and Mesa-type lead tone this amp doesn't do that. The clean channel is great. If you want the higher gain Rivera's look at the Quinana and Knucklehead.
It has neck makers on he side. i dont even notice that there not there youll find you will be able to find your fret just fine with the top of the neck.
