Pitbulls make WONDERFUL pets. All depends on how you raise them, but isn't that the same with any dog breed? Don't believe the bullshit about them being mean dogs.
You can tell if it's a good owner or not if the tails are docked. In this case not bred for fighting - intact tail. Nice to see an undocked tail!!!! :)
@hoppinonabronzeleg I always thought when the dogs had short tails "Docked" I guess you would call it, was to make it look cool. Cuz thats what i wanna do with my dog. Not for fighting. Just cuz i think it makes it look kinda cool.
@ecck2 - Yes In England, it is called tail docking, many breeds of dogs, historically, had their tails docked. Breeds included Bulldogs, boxers, pit bulls/Staffordshires and Rottweilers. The practice has been curbed, and is only done with working dogs. This does not include Border Collies. Many people prefer them undocked, as they feel a dog that wags its tail is a happy dog!!! I'm guessing you are from the States, whereabouts?
