@shawnaisus I cant seem to post a link, but google "why waterbirth" and you'll see plenty of helpful explanations why waterbirth is a safe, gentle way to birth. In natural birth circles, we call it the "natural epidural" because it provides cushion for the contractions and the baby arrives gently from the watery environment in the uterus to the watery bath (where he continues to get oxygen through the umbilical cord - he doesn't start to breathe until his face hits the air.).
Mazal tov!!!!! What an amazing story! I also had a homebirth with our daughter Hadassah and it was the most amazing experience of my life! Now I'm pregnant again and planning my 2nd homebirth, Thanks for sharing your story with us!
Thank you for sharing this beautiful story. I too am religious and want to give birth to my first child as naturally as possible. I was encouraged by your strength and courage.
aww beautiful birth, I had a home birth in the water, with our last child and it was PERFECT, I mean seriouslym I would never do it any other way..watching that brought back memories of when I had Nolan!
