I worked hard today trying to get the cap off the filter only to learn that I had the style that the cap and filter are one unit, oh I got it off alright !!.....dagnabit, now ordering a cap, wait a few more days....Also the bottom of the bowl might have sludge in there, so if you mop out the fuel and check it, you might be surprised
@tiredowalkin I'm sorry to hear that. You must have a different model than what I have. I hope you get it figured out soon and get back on that road! Thanks for watching!
@DiamondDsPM I think that is true for some of the 6.0L Diesel engines, but my engine is a 7.3L and it only has one filter. I recommend buying a Haynes Manual for your specific year and model truck, and that should really help you and is very much worth the investment. Thanks for watching and commenting!
HI, you don't have to bleed air or whatever after putting the new one in? I've never done one before...just got this 2002 F250 diesel and i don't know when the filter was last changed. Thanks, Ron
@rwbigbear Hi Ron, I've never had to bleed anything. I take it upon myself to clean and remove diesel from the filter housing, but that is not necessary. I pop in a new filter and it starts right back up every time, with no problems. Thanks for watching and commenting!
@DayWalker424 I don't know if i replied to this or not? No I haven't. All of the drywall is done, and I have about two more sanding passes to go before it's ready for paint.
if you lived closer i could give you some absorbent pads we use in the fuel hauling ind that would blow your mind they only absorb fuel/gas will not touch the water they are awsome as soon as you touch it to that fuel its like a vac just sucks it all in dry as a bone
@flyingeagleone Next video coming to a theater near you will be putting a new window motor in a F-350, as I did this weekend. No time to edit and upload just yet though.
@flyingeagleone Making videos is the easy part. Editing and giving my laptop time to render them, youtube time to upload it, that's the hard part. LMAO!! I have no time!
