  • (A+B)(A-B) is the formula for the difference between two square numbers,

    so (A+B)(A-B) should equal: A squared minus B squared.

  • Hey this doesn't work! In one step, you divided by (a-b), which you CAN'T DO. In the first step, you said that a=b, so that means that (a-b)=0. In other words, when you divide by (a-b), you're basically dividing by 0, which you can't do. Sorry, but you're trick is poo.

  • @Sheldonsheldon109 yeah thats the trick, alot of people dont see that cuz theyr stupid, obviously this isnt true because if it was, then 1=2, which is obviously false
