  • This movie was so stupid.

  • I'm surprised at how soft spoken he is.

  • He says "you know" a lot

  • I gotta watch this megan fox interview next...

  • David Finchers is indirectly referenced in the book

    "220: S I F T I N G

    The Alien Battle Royale

    or

How we met the Spirit of Kurt Cobain"

    by Fysche.

Thank you for being such a profound inspiration!!!!!!!!!

  • He's right about how politics plays out. The Acaemy is getting way too political.

  • Fincher not winning the Oscar an hour ago is more or less grand larsony. He is one of the most brilliant directors of all time. People WILL remember the Social Network 10 years from now. Then again, it took Scorsese multiple nominations to win. Fincher will get his Oscar one day.

  • @luvluv816 I have to agree. I was devastated the Social Network lost. But I was more devastated that Fincher didn't win best director. I will remember the Social Network, but The King's Speech is already starting to slip my mind.

  • I never realized how sad this guy looks

  • Soft spoken, humble, and has more directing talent in one of his fingernails than most directors have in their entire body. I don't Fincher could do a bad film if he wanted to. I've admired him since his video days, his best films are The Game and Seven in my book, but everything he does is great.

  • @K5Jon totally agree...i cried after watching The Curious Case of Benjamin Button...it was just so moving...!

  • David Fincer, Chris Nolan and the Coen brothers are the greatest directors working in Hollywood right now. Runners up include Scorcese, Tarantino and Spielberg, which I feel they will slowly slip into a comfort state, whereas the top three have still got huge potential and have made some of the most memorable films of the past few decades.

  • @insomniacdog1 You took the words straight out of my mouth.

  • @insomniacdog1 - Your runner's up are better directors than the other ones you twat !

  • christopher nolan and david fincher are both brilliant directors. but david fincher is too underated, he deserves more recognition for his work. you shouldnt really compare them both, they're the best in hollywood

  • all my Favorite movies come from david fincher

  • David Fincher is the MAN

  • fuck the academy awards.

  • He graduated from my High School in Ashland!!!!!

  • fincher, scorsese, coen bros, and boyle are the best driectors ever

  • David Fincher is such a great filmmaker. I put him in the same leauge as Scorcese, Tarantino, Lynch, and The Coen Brothers. Seven, Fight Club, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Zodiac, and i actualy think Alien 3 is hugely underrated.

  • @snoogins231 tarantino is idiot at best a mediocre director

  • @CroMarduk And who would you consider a good director?

  • @AndMyAxeNew David Fincher, Christopher Nolan

  • @CroMarduk good man... both are genius..

  • @CroMarduk He is a "writer" directer, not a film maker based on NOVELS

  • @nikefreak01 well than he sucks on both fields

  • @CroMarduk u dont know movies mate lol

  • @nikefreak01 lol rofl

  • @CroMarduk ya hope u understand after u go through puberty.

  • @nikefreak01 ya

  • seems like a really down to earth dude. Honestly though I see alot of people in spot trying to act down to earth, seems like he really is.

  • @bakanbi Seven,Fight Club.I rest my case :)

  • i fucking love this guy

  • @CasperGgoodwood Damn right! I would kiss him! Nay, I would lovely caress his bottucks whilst fondling his manly sack of love....and I'm not even gay! That's respect!

  • I just love Fincher's imagination

  • I think it's time for him to win some awards now. Love him.

  • He is so great and cute!

    :)

  • Like Ridley Scott, he's produced brilliance but I thought Button was a fairly technical exercise and I have little hope for a movie about Facebook beyond seeing how Fincher adapts his style to mundane subject matter. That Black Hole project sounded more interesting.

  • @jrt70 I've read the script. It's FAR from mundane. It's a fascinating story of jealousy, greed and betrayal. How anyone can call a story that shows how a 20 year-old kid takes a dorm room project to a $15 billion company in four years is beyond me.

  • @Zolofted I've read that the script is good. If it turns out to be a timeless exploration of big American themes, wealth, celebrity etc then great. All I'm saying is - Fincher seems to be at that career point where he can pick and choose, and of all his options, he picks this, and I just don't find the central story that interesting. Facebook isn't special, it just came along at the right time, tidying up the MySpace interface. Maybe there's more to it, and if so I'll eat humble pie.

  • @jrt70 How anyone can call the story of how a 20 year-old kid takes a dorm room project to a $15 billion company in four years mundane is beyond me. I've read the script and it's one of the most compelling stories of jealousy, betrayal and greed that I've ever read. I could not put it down.

  • One of the best, a true mastermind!

  • i think david fincher is one of the greatest directors of all time

  • @roloug95

    You're right :)

With love from New Zealand Mr. Fincher!

  • @roloug95 I know why isn't he more praised. He's made like 3 of my favorite movies on my top ten

  • same its similar to Ridley scott they both are just not recognised for how good their career has been it baffles me

  • @roloug95 I agree, but benjamin button is the low point of his career

  • @roloug95

Just saw The Social Network, he really is the greatest
