No thanks. Cool, but nope. I can build a new, quality AR and still have $400 left over for a mid-range crossbow for the price of this. Not saying it isn't cool, but it's not financially reasonable, and seems like the only people who could actually buy this are people looking to blow money on the coolest new toy.
@GunWebsites :) haha Sorry, I'm kind of a kill joy sometimes. If it was priced to be affordable to a broader audience, I'd be really hyped about it, but with that price tag it's a hard pill to swallow. I suppose it's nothing different than a lot of AR uppers, but there are very few AR uppers that I would drop over $1000 on as well. Just me.
I really want one of these, but I'm waiting for the price to go down. Based on what I've seen thus far, you could buy either a really good .45 ACP handgun or a good AR15 with the money needed to buy this crossbow upper.
the UPPER if the "rifle" is 100% crossbow. it replaces a barreled REAL rifle upper with this x-bow monstrosity. essentially making the AR platform useless.... also with over a $1300 price tag a waste of money too
This crossbow is capable of accurate 100+ yard shots, which wrecks it competition. So if you can use a crossbow for whatever it is you are doing...this is the crossbow. This could be especially helpful for handicapped hunters during bow season, as it allows them to significantly increase their range. While the concept of a TACTICAL crossbow sounds ridiculous, and I think that's the "just for fun" part, this bow's performance puts it at the top of the crossbow hunter's list.
The lower reciever doesnt come with it. 1300 frogs for this piece though thats alot of coin. It shoots same hole groups at 50 and I read an article which claimed it holds tight 1-2 inch groups at 100 yards. I am ordering my stag lower next week
Since we were just there reporting on thier new gear, we felt we had no right to broadcast information between a manufacturer and one of their customers

Lets see the price of this cool toy mentioned, I saw it for $1100, thats nuts when you can buy a decked out crossbow, or better a nice complete AR.

OMG..thats ridiculous...I NEED ONE!
ConditionRedDawn 2 years ago
Well it may seem like a novelty, but in some states this would work for archery hunts, so it could open up a new hunting season for some folks
GunWebsites 2 years ago
Can you get it with the stock? I don't have an AR-15. :P
timerider4 2 years ago
well the AR part is more than just the stock, it's the trigger too.. so I think for this one, you would need to get an AR lower at least
GunWebsites 2 years ago
You could really freak out your buddys. When you tell them you took your deer during bow season with your AR.

Why did you have to protect industry info...

Since we were just there reporting on thier new gear, we felt we had no right to broadcast information between a manufacturer and one of their customers

What kind of things were they saying? Just like examples.
heaa21 2 years ago
Probably things like prices, ordering info, addresses, names, contract terms, etc
I honestly have no idea anymore.. but at the time I edited the video I decided it was NOT important to describe the product
