  • Thank you sogyal rinpoche

  • this made me smile he is so joyfull :)

  • Somebody have this in spanish? thanks

  • Rinpoche is a warm hearted man.

  • Thank you, Rinpoche

  • This guy is not half bad, a little overfed maybe, but what the hey!

  • You understand?!

  • This is my favorite by him. I listen to it often as it helps give me perspective. Happy this person was put on this earth.

  • I am so greatful to have found teachings which bring to me such an understanding of what it is to be human :D

  • Savez-vous pourquoi robertrigpa, il y a si peu de vidéos de Sogyal Rinpoché sur le net (youtube) alors que c'est un des maîtres les plus prolifiques avec des centaines de milliers d'enseignements.

  • you have too feel this in your heart...nobody could never describe the sense of bhuddism and the sense of life in words

that is our problem, some manage it through magic mushrooms. I mean the perception of light changes and we start to realize that light is something very special, as much as time. It exists in the nature too, that should be evident enough. we try to simulate the "big bang" - I mean, that is too far! The solution is just in front of our eyes and it exists, but not in words

  • H,H, the sangyal rinpoche , we all tibetan highly respected you , about your's endless tibetan buddism s teaching , and your's way of teaching is very high level , where a few human can achieved, I have gone through your's, books, is very complexed , yet very simplify , for excitable to many ordinary people , your humanly intelligent achievement is very super high, in nature,

  • well well the point is we have to live for their pleasure...we are the DRUG they need..and this is the reason they wont let us go....by the way imnendham is real knight of the round table!!

  • Agreed. Where did you get your glasses? Well said.

  • This is not the purpose of life, this is just the Goal of our life.

  • @BeamSurfer can a purpose not be a goal?

  • @alohilani1215 That's not really for anyone to decide except the individual soul. This is what I believe anyway.

  • thankyou bdudda

  • if only more belief systems would preach such profound and very relevant understanding of life and how humanity should try and live our life in order to have more inner peace in our lives & "possibly" achieve enlightenment.

  • Thank you for bringing these videos.

I would appreciate so much if you could make 2 parts, instead of cutting what you think is unnecessary.

    But thank you!

  • doyou unstand?

  • Very profound. Thank you.

  • The last part is wonderful.

  • Your wisdom is wonderful...Tks.

  • Wonderful.

  • 'Siddhartha' loves illusion ;), Buddhism has no goal, I think ... except to have no goal, only on whatsofar I know of course, a good video tho *****

  • @HHimmler33 I would generally agree with your comment that Buddhism has no goal or purpose, not even 'Enlightenment' . The only point is one of Mindfulness. Living present and abiding in 'reality'

  • This world is full of illusions....... life is an illusion, its not real.....this is not the real 'thing'..... the place we come from, and the place we return to when we die, that place is the real 'thing'......it is worth taking note that more often than not, the things that we imagine will bring happiness, do not......yet the things we dont think will bring happiness, actually do......this is all a part of the great illusion......(this is my personal belief, make of it what you will). 8)

  • @jasonzzz5 you logic is an illusion

  • His purpose in life should be to ......... LOSE SOME WEIGHT.

  • you, have completely missed the point.

  • @kenny582 His obesity is only an illusion.

  • @TheMaximumLife Not as much as your prejudice

  • @kenny582 have some respect

  • @kenny582 well said.

  • Excellent! Emaho! :-)

  • :-)

  • Robert, thanks for posting these teachings.

Sogyal Rinpoche is a great master and it is too good he is approaching Westerns as well. The Tibetan Book of Living and Dying is a very very precious reading and I do recommend to all who like his teachings.

  • thats one superb book!

See i had some of those experiences of sometimes looking at, say, a bird flying across the sky and suddenly feelign great peace because the view is so beautiful. He mentioned something similar in his book. And that unfortunately if we bring it up, people might think we are a little wierd! So we dont bring these things up to others. I.e. when we feel this great peace we keep it secret.

Anyway that book is one of the best spiritual books (in my opinion)

  • @Simon0 I actually HAVE shared that feeling with people before, and usually my mother would totally understand, even though she considers herself a Christian, lol. other than my mom, most people look at me funny, but on occasion i get a look from someone like they DO know what I'm talking about and they can't believe i broke the social norm and actually mentioned it out loud among all the people with all their "important" stuff tey're doing!! haha. life is nice...

  • @Smiling1Me I'm reading that book right now. Absolutely fascinating.

  • tru dat

  • I really liked watching him. Thank you for sharing this with us. x

  • 18-45. Set forth to them the similitude of the life of this world: It is like the rain which we send down from the skies: the earth's vegetation absorbs it, but soon it becomes dry stubble, which the winds do scatter: it is (only) Allah who prevails over all things.

  • And this dream of life comes to an end & you shall awaken to a new one
