I understand the pro has a "helical gear pinion/main gear". I have an "old std" trex500, which would be similar to esp. Can I "fit" the new helical gear setup into my frame? I understand the pro has a "new shaft". I suspect there is more frame clearance for the gearing, because the gear is 0.7 mod which means thicker main gear.
love that 500 pro very nice build !!!!!

The pro uses the same main shaft so as long as you change the pinion gear on the motor you should be able to use the new main gear

I just got the new trex 450 pro v2 today. It has new gearing compared to the old pro.
Main Drive Gear: 121 T instead of the 150t in the old pro.
Come with the new GP790 gyro and newly designed side frame allows for ease of electronics install and wire routing, thats about it.
