Consider: People don't really want to hear the truth from politicians. We reward and encourage politicians who will tell us what we want to hear....not what we need to hear. If people voted for truth-tellers, Dennis Kucinich would be President of the United States today.
They seem like they are just telling people what they want to hear. I'll remain skeptical until they prove what they say. Until than I guess all we can do is vote for the one that "appears" to match what we support/oppose.

It sure can be frustrating. I would like new way of managing our resources. The speed of change seems to be accelerating specially when it comes to technology, communication, and information. This system of government is the equivalent of windows 3.2 if we are not going to try that cool new Mac then at least upgrade to something from this decade.
