Okay, I'm 47 years old and after watching this have decided to just live with my after weigh loss skin hanging all over the place. I have a low tolerance to pain and at my age don't think I could go through all of this. At least I have lost the weight, I will be happy with that. However congrats to you, you look FAB! Gosh it's like they cut you into 2 halves and then they stapled you back on. Did you know they would do such a thing? I can't imagine the pain! Hope u ve fully recovered and that it left no skin marks.

In my recovery, I am eating about 50% complex carbs as opposed to 30% to help my body heal faster. I am also eating around 1,600-2,000 calories per day as opposed to around 1,800 normally because my body needs those extra calories during the healing process. I am also taking a multivitamin and drinking lots of water!

I think this is way more painful than giving birth. I got an emergency C-section, it sucked, but not as bad as people make it out to be. You already looks so well. I your stomach looks flat already imagine after the swelling is gone! Good luck!

I had 8 drains to start with - then had 4 of them for an extra 4 weeks - 1 fell out (yeah - gross) but when it did - I had fluid in my abdomen that they could only drain with a needle - ACK!! They are a pain - but when they are out - all is good
