Saw them on their comeback US Tour opener at HoB Anaheim just last Wed. 11.10.10. Great show with an intimate crowd. They didn't play Ants...but Third Man was outstanding and VHV, a personal favorite, was one of the encores.
Goss and Co. rocked solid....no poses, no fillers. Thought I'd let you know....
perfect! sounds like what rock music is supposed to sound like. and the club and audience looks like what a rock club is supposed to look like. the whole place is going up and down! release this whole show!
this must be the same tour as the flak 'n' flight album..., was that whole album captured on video??? this may even be the same show. what an amazing lineup.
@Skyuss666 i'm sorry to hear that your friend hurt you so badly as to want to be so much unlike him, but you know you really shouldn't try to dislike something that you know is good. watch him talk about guitars and you'll see why people love him so much
Well if this was from Flak n Flight, it would have probably been between 01 and 03. Flak was released in 03 but this may have been done during their promotion
Fuck these guys for never touring near me! I live less than an hour away from their hometown, couldn't they at least play there some time? I NEED to see them live. If Josh and Nick are with them, it'll be that much better.
This was done around 2003, it's from the flak and flight tour...i missed the show by a day! don't you hate it when that shit happens, anyway the live albums called flak and flight and it unreal
good god I can't wait! Gonna do some searching for a realease date. This tour the video is from was Chris' best lineup since the original band with the Goog, Mr. McOwl and Tim Harrington.
this is definitely from 2001. Hell I was supposed to see this line up (goss+homme+oliveri) in Zurich but then I had to cancel at the last minute. Fuck!
Saw Chris and the band on the Sufferbus tour w/ginger Baker. They were amazing. I wish to God that MoR were given a harder push on the radio. Chris Goss has a fantastic rock sensability! Catchy hooks, imaginative lyrics and that smooth harmonic voice! If you ever get the chance see Master's or Chris in one of his side projects. No disappointments!
yeah, good video. but it's not from 1995, since the album this came from came out in 2001. I even owned a DVD from Visions magazine with this video and a couple of others on it when it came out.

I was thinking this isn't in '95 cause Josh is playing a Maton and doesn't sound like a pre-pubescent boy when he's singing. Okay maybe he wasn't that bad of a singer in the 90's but he's improved 10 fold since then.

I still recall the slow grin creeping up my face about 8 minutes into listening to the delicious vinyl reissue of the first Masters of Reality
...if your foot ain't tapping by now, you may as well check for a pulse.
Chris Goss brings the perfect combination of tra-la whimsy doom rock riff and lonely mystic soul.
discovered this about the same time as the self-titled 'Trouble'...all other memories from this... 'some year in the early 90's'
are sorta vague. Must have been having a good time...
