@1bentley4ever The first generation ES was probably sportier than later models. During the same era, Nissan was billing its flagship Maxima as a 'four door sports car'.
@NitekMuscle Well I have not driven an ES250 but I drive a 1998 ES300 and the association of the ES300 with a sports sedan is such a fat lie it amuses me to no extent. Even the Volvo 850 is sportier to drive. I know Nissan now markets the Maxima as being a 350Z with 4 doors...... and a CVT.
