i acually guit aion after 1month of playing it cause lvling took for so freaking long but now when 1.9 is on im installign game back atm it takes a hell lot of time since i cant do it whit disc i msut do it by ncsoft launcehr and then there is that pach too will prolly take for 5 hours more or smth and why i cant use dics?because the file is not empty and all stuff well doesent matter..

Hey I saw your comment on you buying AIon at game stop but never got the dye, did you ever get thet resolved? I would like to buy a new AIon for the White Dye, but each store i went to all the games looked the same (the packaging) and non of them said anything about a HOliday AScension Pack, so if you could clue me in if possible... thanks!

@Luminaire9 yeah i figured it out, i think it was during the christmas holiday, but when u install the game an get it registered an put ur payment and everything it will ask you what store u bought it from and u will see the store names an logos an u select the one u bought it from or from which one u want the dye i guess and once ur done with that it should be on ur main character i got the true black dye but it can only be used once so u might want to wait till lv 50 with good armor

this is more of an NCSoft thing. they do this all the time with there other games. but i do have to agree about the story line lacking, NCSoft did a much better job there with Guild Wars IMO.

Aion will do ANYTHING, to draw people into this game. Its actually rather pathetic.

If you like lack of creativity and purely just grinding levels. Then AION is for YOU ! Sadly, i was hoping for more from this game. They have had over a year with this game released. Think they would have improved it a bit better by now.

If you actually sat down and took the time to PLAY this game, you would realize that there is a really good story line. I know that not EVERY game is liked by everyone, but I just have to disagree with you on that part. ... but everyone is entitled to their own opinion ^_^

Story line ? I havent read one word of those quests other than the blue wording just to find where i have to go.

Couldnt careless about a story line. I care more for the PvP aspect of a game, which this game also lacks, especially in flight.

None the less you pointed out the fact i stated this game is a grindfest, yet you provided no info against my statement.

@ efknight...that won't work...what if u have soulbound items? Not all items can simply be mailed and then mailed back lol, also, when u activate the account-ncsoft requires that u pay for atleast 1 month in advanced, so for this to work it would cost 15 bucks plus te game price, and u won't be able to dye ur "good" items. Clever idea at first, but I am sure ncsoft is a little more cleve in the marketing industry than person on youtube, lol.

Purchase game from retailer. Activate account (1st month free) Mail some kinah and armor to the level 1. Dye the armors. Mail them back. Remodel gear with armors. End subscription. There you go folks.

Been ~ a month playing Aion, point of view of a lvl 30 assassin:( i have only really played wow before) Cons: 1. Mobs are harder than in wow. 2. You run out of quests and some quests are simply a massive grind. 4. lvl differences are much more notable in pvp 5. Terrain limitation. Sometimes cant jump over fences, and sometimes terrain seems to swallow u(poor polish). 6.Takes much longer to lvl 7. No arena. 8. cant swim Pros: 1. The pvp feeling the game has is very engaging. For pvp, aion>Wow.
