They should add jets that can have two people like in the campaign. The second guy can lock onto other jets and fire bombs on ground forces while the other guy flies the jet and deals with shooting down the other jets and setting up a good position for the second guy to shoot ground targets.

I prefer the ECM jammer because it does the same work as the flares but yet reloads faster. Not to mention if you have thermal camo or "stealth" it's a bitch to try and lock on to you again....

I fly like flying helicopters and jets, but what really pisses me off is when jet pilots only go for helicopters instead of other jets. As a jet pilot, your job should be to take out other jets, leave the helicopters alone unless they're a threat to you. That's all I ask.

I find Flares to be the better option. Stealth/Flares/Rocket Pods is the way to go. Stealth/Flares makes you practically immune to missiles as long as you're flying away from guys with Stingers/Iglas and not letting jets/heli lock you up for very long. Rocket pods help attacking ground targets significantly and lets you destroy their jets on the ground from greater distances. Air Radar is cool, but Stealth is invaluable for staying alive, and you should be using external view a lot and spotting.

Yesterday I got an Air Warfare Ribbon of killing ground troops, so it's possible to help the ground, it's just difficult and hard to master, but once you're good at it, you'll be like getting 15-0 scores in every Jet match.

@TooW92 Not in the rooms i play in son. When MVP is at 8,000 +, aint no pilot getting it, i can get 6 kills in the time it takes you to get one and i can capture an objective at the same time.

Face it dude... as much as you try to justify jets, theyre not that effective in the way of controlling a game.... Having all the tanks is far more important than having all the jets.

Input lag may be a component vs HDMI problem. I've noticed when playing rhythm game i.e. rockband, guitar hero what ever have you. I experience a lot of lag when using HDMI on both the xbox and ps3 so maybe that is the cause of your input lag issue.
