The engine sounds in to form, the 15 group chaps must have be pleased to hear the sound of life coming from the engine bay of the loco after many years of hard graft. Great video too
@trainlover658 ..well lets see, D8233 has NO Cab, NO Electrical system, NO braking system, NO Auxilary machines, NO bodywork at the blunt end oh and NO traction motors, this was just to test the engine, fuel,cooling & lubrication systems thats all, its a huge milestone for the C15PS and diesel preservation in general, but now the rest of the restoration begins...
