@chelseaforever10 Ok, this is not a good solution for recording games. I would suggest using CamStudio as a free option. A paid alternative is Fraps.

@02icebird You want to record the output of manycam? To do this you can open any webcam recording software such as Windows Movie Maker. Then you must change the input to manycam and that should be it.

Well I installed manycam on my mac but at 5:14 where it says "please start manycam" it doesn't say that and it's not listed under the list of video options!!

Ok, at the top there are two tabs. Click the one that says Sources. Once there on the left hand side there will be a list of sources you can choose. Towards the bottom there will be an option for Desktop

ok im using a mac pro (latest) and i can do it ,thats not the problem, the problem is that the image that im broadcasting is really bad ,i wouldnt even want to watch my own videos! so i was wondering if you have a solution to this because like i said the image is really bad and i was looking for some kind of hd or hq image . well if u know how let me know! thanks

I would recommend Ustream Broadcaster. It is the best free program that can broadcast in hd for mac. You do need a ustream account however, but you can upload them directly to youtube. Or you can download the raw file

Actually it looks like ManyCam doesn't but since it is set up to act like a webcam. You can choose your microphone before you record
