ty man. bin tryin to fix this prob with darksiders. the viewing angles. was using this other emulator, wasnt working. was bumming the fuk out,lol. this worked. i really didnt hav to do nothin. extract file to game directory. open it n see if the controller was detected. clik save. sum of the buttons wer not right but they worked. thas all that matter. now i can see everything in the game now

@uselessID85 We clearly know the PS2 controller does work, because I did it. What adapter are you using? What game you trying to use? Does the xbox configuration gui program detect your key presses on the PS2 controller? Do you have the correct configuration file?

@gamedexterity I tried to play NFS THE RUN,, and yes it detects its program when I press the button on the controller, but everytime i try to play the knob settings do not always fit, while I was sure the settings in "x360ce.ini" is correct, can you help me, can you provide the setting in "x360ce.ini"

Or you could use DS3 tool by motion in joy, emulates to xbox, but also 360 . Only if ur not able to check which controller you want to use in game settings, u need this.

TIP to enable gamepad in BO ,type in the console " /gpad_enable 1 " just type gpad and you will see the list

BUT it is incredibly hard to use a gamepad,i tried playing against easy bots and i got one kill with a bolt sniper! i cant move properly,it is very strange

I really hope you dont mind me asking this, as i've made tutorials before and understand that these kinds of questions can be annoying... if it annoys you too much dont even respond, but i've tried all day to make this work.

The emulator/game doesn't recognize the right stick, and the triggers are what makes me turn right and left. I'd be able to fix it normally but im not really sound of mind right now.

In the xbox gui program, does it show the mapping working correctly with the analog sticks and all the buttons? What game are you trying? I short answer is to check the mapping and to do guess and check. It's almost an art. There is a long list of comments, and people have done all kinds of things to make their controller work. Best advice is to continue at it, and take a break.

I got one to work, edited the config file to change value of PAD2 to 0 but still the XInput Tester did not detect the second controller.

@gamedexterity I did everything that you said , and i remapped my controls , when i enter XInputTest everything is perfect , but when i'm in game (for example LA Noire) my Y and A button aren't working,when i press Y or A i get X or B related actions...X and B buttons are working fine.So practicaly i can only use X and B... It's working like this :

X button= X

Y button= X

B button = B

A button = B . If i don't configure it at all i only get X and Y swapped , and A and B swapped,but all working

@gamedexterity i dont know but its just the newly updated version of vibmod and its installed differently. I found out how to get it working and you dont need to do any of the notepad editing and the VID and PID. It just a click and its done

Friend some tips. Setting up your PID and VID without changing FakeAPI=1 it actually does nothing. It is just not enabled. The whole point in this method is that you don’t have to use dinput8.dll. If it worked for you when you changed PID and VID without setting FakeAPI=1 then you didn’t need to do it anyway. Also you don’t have to paste all the contents of the file just setup your x360ce.ini file i.e. in your desktop and then paste x360ce.ini and xinput1_3.dll to your exe folder.
